I am in the middle of this interior transformation of my 2004 2500 QuadCab, purchased a set of 2017 1500 Sport QuadCab front & rear seats from ebay - arrived quickly and better than expected - fronts are at local upholstry shop getting aftermarket seat heat pads installed and I put the rear seats in today - 99% plug-n-play, simple unbolt old and bolt in new (little upper seat back bracket I had to trim off on the larger side, small side fit exactly) - I can highly recommend finding quad cab 1500 seats if you want your install to be as painless as possible - pics & front seat install info to follow in the near future

Amazing -
wish I had done this a few years ago, Quad or Crew cab front seats from 1500/2500/3600 bolt straight in (electrical does not plug straight in but all the new seats need is power and ground so it is a simple wiring fix), Quad back seat (must be from 1500 as 2500/3500 never had Quad in 4th or 5th Gen) bolts right in with no mods (per YouTube Crew rear will fit but bracket modifications needed),
4th Gen Center console kinda bolts up although one bracket had no hole in floor to mount to - you could drill and tap or nut on the bottom or ignore.. I ignored and it’s solid with the 3 holes that line up
note: 4th Gen 18 and newer console has a USB that will not work as power port with simple power and ground - it runs on the CAN BUS on the donor truck (I worked on it for hours - the 17’ and earlier USB worked perfectly, just needs power and ground)

My front and rear seats came out of a 2017 1500 Sport (the truck had full center console which I didn’t buy as I wanted a jump seat console) my center console came out of a 2018 1500 Eco which matches the seats nicely

The single best upgrade I have done in my 15 years of owning this truck - such a nice seat set up

oops forgot - prior to installing I had a local upholstry shop pull out the factory seat heat pads and I installed an ebay seat heat kit (every thing I read said trying to hook up factory seat heat ((or cooling)) to a truck with no seat heat would make my head hurt so I gave up before I tried)
$75 ebay seat heat kit only needed power and ground and it makes the morning drive very comfortable

I am about $2300 all in, front&rear seat kit, center console, seat heat kit, and labor to install seat heat pads (and add some foam while they were in there- seats had 40k on them)

and back seat swap took me about 45 minutes, front seat / console swap with wiring took about 2 hours, seat heat wiring with mounting switches took about 1.5 hours, trying to get center console USB to work … plus I had at least 3 hours in to making the OEM USB have power before giving up installing a different USB
