Just filled up with the last of my $3.59 diesel from storage tank. I'll be singing the blues next week.

We took the dog to a river walk area this morning. On the way there (about 9:00 am) diesel was $5.99 at a local Mobil station that is notoriously 50 cents or more higher than others. On the way back about an hour later, it was $6.29!

We just traded our Chevy diesel in on our RAM Hemi. I was thinking how pissed I would be if I was down to a quarter tank and decided to walk the dog before filling up!

Regular runs around 3.80-4 and over here (CT).

Why bother with a gas thread if you're not going to allow discussion of WHY the prices are what they are? Any one can go to gasbuddy or google maps and see real time gas prices anywhere in the country.

Because it will devolve into a giant name calling CF.

It's a fuel price thread in the general forum. You want to talk politics, go to OT. There's already a couple related threads there.

If the thread provides no value to you, just scroll on by. No need to announce your displeasure.

If you have other complaints about how the site is run, feel free to PM me.

Is not going to stop - at least not for 3 more years. I am predicting Diesel will reach the $6 mark nation wide by 2023. California and new York will be higher of course.

Prices are back up around central NC too. That slight price cut was short lived it seems.

Fuel was mostly $4.79 here when we returned home (SE KS) from an RV trip just over a week ago. I pulled my flatbed to Wichita Tuesday to help out a buddy and it's mostly $5.19 everywhere now, in fact we actually paid $5.29 where we fueled in Andover. And yes, same Andover that just got blown away by another tornado.

$6.09 for regular.
$6.99 for diesel.

It's been over $5 for diesel for so long now that I can barely remember when it happened. Got to love Northern California

Went to the store yesterday and the corner Circle K had been at $4.99 for diesel for the last couple of weeks. Came back from the store and it was $5.39. A damn 40 cent increase.

Ugh... here in upstate NY:
Monday was $6.199
Weds was $6.299
Today I paid $6.399

Towing for me is now $.75 / mile
Empty is $.38 / mile.

Need a second job; but it will need to cover fuel costs to get there

The delta between regular unleaded and diesel just got worse in St. Louis.
$3.79 vs $4.65 for at least the past 4 weeks.
It just jumped to $3.89 and $5.35....
