Greeting! First car was a 1990 W150 with the 318 and used to have an 06 megacab Cummins 2500 Laramie g56 2wd weird combo I know lol. Sold it when I got off active duty and moved back to California.

Just traded in a 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7L 4x4 5ft 7 bed (trade in prices are great right now got more $$$ than we paid for it in July) and picked up a 2021 Ram 2500 Tradesman 6.4L 4x4 8ft bed for about $900 off MSRP. It has the 8.4” touch screen, chrome package, anti slip rear, 400w 120v inverters inside/out along with the 50 gal tank.

We used our old truck almost exclusively for camping/towing so it was worth it to downgrade the trim to upgrade capacity.

any advice on best inexpensive upgrades for the tradesmen? Will want to add tow hooks for the front (had to do that for the old 1500 too)
