Yesterday I traded my ‘06 for a new ‘21. I bought the ‘06 new and was the single owner. That truck only had minor issues over the 15 years...It was the best vehicle I’ve ever owned, but it was time for new. Here to learn and figure out everything I need to know about this new gen truck!

Congrats on a great looking new truck. Sounds like you got your money’s worth out of the old one after 15 years !! Welcome to the forum, there’s a lot of good guys with ownership experiences here who are always willing to help out. Enjoy that new car smell !!

Wow, that is just an amazing truck(s). I’m a huge fan of granite crystal.

it will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the 5.9 at it’s peak to the 6.7 Cummins

Of course 15 years makes a night & day difference in noise, ride, and technology. It’s so much smoother, feels faster. It has a massive amount of interior storage compared to the ‘06. I mean it has 10 freakin cup hilders

I’ve never dealt with the emissions/def fluid so that’s gonna be a pain. After reading some horror stories I’m glad they went back to the CP3 fuel pump this year.

Also wondering about oil change/maintenance issues. The 06’ was simple to work on. This appears like it will be more difficult.
