Ok, so we first saw this style on the Macho Powerwagon Concept. They are changed a slight bit (for the worse?) But have the same overall look.

Now, my question is...what is the purpose ofthe rectangle at the top. I can not imagine there is any function to it...so just for looks?(why?)

Also, I wish they would have done the hood badges this way also...and of course I also feel the Powerwagon should have got a special hood like the Rebel.(yes, those are my only two "complaints")

The Blue Powerwagon on the header is making it hard to justify a Tradesman.

Probably no reason for the square on top of the fender flare, just for looks. I like how the prototype still has the antenna mount boss on the fender, lol!

The only reason it’s there is to differentiate a 2018 from a 2019.

Is that a fact or is it your thought as there are plenty more obvious things...although that does stand out.

Just thought maybe there was a use behind that in the offroad world...obviously it is just for looks here...but on the concept I thought maybe a place for a securement strap(not a full blown tiedown) ...I have used my fenders a time or two while hauling our kayaks and paddle boat and back in the day slung a deer over the front hood of my ramchager...just a thought, and something to banter about.

This powerwagon has the shift knob which I like it’s a gasser which is the way I was going, the exterior is exactly like last years model, with the exception of the notches on the flares but it does have the interior from the 1500 that I love. But it does have the transfer case lever so it does loose the huge console from the 1500. I am leaning towards the powerwagon, just waiting on pricing to come out.

Hood badges, door badges, engine badges, completely different front bumper, completely different rear bumper, fog lights, the fender flares(as mentioned) better and different winch carrier and plug setup for remote, winch line is different, bigger grille(although similar), tow hooks, completely different headlights. Different cab light and antenna setup, mirrors are different, front doors and rear are slightly different at bottom and front by fender, Tailgate completely different, fenders completely different, hood completely different, interior completely different (though similar theme) new Radio setups, new chassis, higher stance.

Wheels and tires the same, RamBox the same, cab structure the same.

The Powerwagon is what i want. I found the exact same 2018 as the one the header. Wife said buy it, almost did, but I noticed all the differences, I just can't say I want the 2018 overthe 2019 anymore.

And i don't think I will ever be able to justify the 6 speed auto once i get the chance to drive the mighty 6.4l mated to that 8 speed.

I can not wait to see these. Gonna be very hard to pass the Powerwagon (which I probably will based only on payload)

I don't think I can justify the Tradesman with Powerwagon package, when the Powerwagon looks so much better this time...in 2016 that wasnt quite the case.

But I also need the 8 foot bed...so, yes, i am still thinking about getting the New Powerwagon.

Just getting these thoughts out of my head.

I agree they are very similar.

But they are definitely different also. And to me that is perfectly fine(just wish the hood badges were like the Macho Concept.

I think you will be happy with a Tradesman Power Wagon, which you can get in Blue Streak as well. I shot some more pictures of various Power Wagon models today, that will be showing up on the site this week.

Matter of fact, the Tradesman Power Wagon will be the first one up tomorrow morning... here is a teaser...
