2014 ram 3500 6.4L 28000 miles, almost time for a 3000 mile change, don't really know what brands best for Hemi engine. Think maybe a Shell Rotella 5w40 ?

The HEMI's like Redline, usually quiets them down a bit. Lots of people use PUP as well.

Ram recommends Penzoil Ultra Platinum synthetic 0W-40 for the 2019 Ram 6.4; not sure what the manual says for your 2014. NAPA had it on sale for $5.99 a quart, about a $4 savings. Did my first change at 4,000 miles last month.AA0B142A-DBCE-45FD-8C45-BA36D88762B8.jpeg

Went with Mobile 1 synthetic 0 W 40 euro. AND Mobile filter, seams pretty quiet, no ticking, will probably change before 4000 miles

That is what I use in mine with the Mopar filter. Purchase at wallyworld.

I have 127k on mine and change when the oil life says too. It starts ticking quietly about 50% and gets annoying about 20%, I make the plan to change at 10%.

I am sitting at 22% right now...looks like a cold oil change this time
