It's a Mopar Maxcare plan. Dealer finance guy is full of it. Dishonesty like that is despicable.

I used Zeigler's price to get my dealer to do $100 under ($100 over cost). They get a monthly bonus from FCA if they sell x number of warranties, regardless of their profit.

Check the Granger thread, he said he will be offering the same Maxcare at $100 over their cost.
That's why I got mine right from mopar.

I picked up my Limited Longhorn 3500 yesterday. The paperwork guy presented the MaxCare plan at +/- $7000. He almost **** when I showed him the Ziegler quote for $1925/200 deductible. Said it was probably not a factory plan and that his cost was more than that. Lowest he said he could go was $3400 (admitting they were going to make $3600) told me to be sure it was a factory Mopar warranty. Then proceeded to tell me that “with some of these plans” other dealers would not do the warranty work. Before I buy from Ziegler, can you all confirm this is a legit factory warranty that must be honored by any dealer? Thanks guys.

That is a good question. No one has specifically answered this question.

What I'm curious about is how many people have actually paid that kind of money ($7000) for a warranty not knowing they could get it for less! I could just see the finance guy laughing when they walk out. Lol!

I just went on the BBB to ck ratings on MOPAR warranty. SO SO many bad reviews. Not so much on tbe warranty itself but like when you cancel the warranty. Most saying taken 7 months to get their money back. Makes me wonder how they do business. Now I'm really confused.

Well, I don't buy a warranty to get a refund on it but OEM is the only warranty to buy, sooo....
I plan to get one from Mopar soon after I get the truck home from the dealer.

I got a quote from Chryslerwarrantydirect.com that was $200 less than Zeigler for same 85/8 $200 deductible. Is this truly a factory website or spoofed. Trying to be careful here.

Chryslerwarrantydirect.com sells Mopar warranty's. I purchased two from them and I received letters from Mopar and they both show up on my owner's page and in the computer at the dealer. The dealer is CR Motors in Michigan, they are an authorized FCA dealer.

I received this quote for a MOPAR warranty and plan on snagging it once I take delivery.

Mopar Max Care $200 deductible 8 years from the ‘in service’ date or to 125K miles is $2925 (ram 3500 HO Limited)

I just talked to Jason at Chryslerwarrantydirect.com and got a quote for our 2022 2500 Hemi for 6ys/100,000 for $1435, MaxCare. Be sure to ask them about the discount code. If you don't mention it they may not offer. Good luck.

I just talked to Jason Edmonson at ChryslerWarrantyDirect (517)662-0400 and purchased 8yr 85,000 mile $200 deductible MaxCare for $1710. This is the same factory warranty that the Dealership tried to sell me for $7000. When I showed them a lower quote they dropped it to $3500 and said that was their cost. shop around guys!

I have a Tradesman level truck. Does anyone recommend buying an extended service plan for a 2021 2500 "Tradesman" level with the Gas 6.4?

I have a Crew Cab with the 8.4 radio (non-nav), Ram Boxes, snow chief group and the rear blind spot sensors. It doesn't have a lot of the higher trim options like the upgraded rear-view mirror, power seats, auto climate control or dynamic cruise control.

I saw in a previous post that the all-in-one LED head lights aren't covered by the max care warranty because bulbs aren't covered. The blind spot sensors are part of the rear LED tail lights, so I assume there will be a challenge to have them covered under the warranty.

With the 5/60 power train warranty from the factory, I'm leaning towards skipping the extended warranty all together or maybe going with a lower level plan such as the "Added Care Plus" level as it's a lot cheaper than the Max Care to have a few more years of power train coverage.

Has anyone else with a 2500 Tradesman Hemi gotten value out of their extended warranty?
