Mega Cab Floor Dimensions

Anyone able to or have already measured the rear cargo space in a mega cab with the seats folded down into "flat floor"? My wife is wanting to put our dogs in crash rated kennels as we travel, have a few options to go with but really wanted to get a better idea of width and length of the back seat space in a mega cab. Google gives me back a few different not the same answers over the years so figured best to check real world. Looking at order a 25 3500, not sure if all the 4.5th gen Rams would be the same or not. Thanks!
 
if there is a 2500 or 3500 MC near you, bring the crate to the dealer for a test fit. When I ordered mine, I wanted to see how it felt with 2 car seats in there, and they let me mount the car seats no problem. It was in a MC that I wasn't even buying, and ordered a 3500 the same day.
 
Great suggestion, we haven't ordered the kennels as they have no chance of fitting in my CC I have today but the ones were looking at have very well documented exterior dimensions I can use, I don't think its a tight fit but really want to know before buying a new truck :)

I don't blame you for wanting to check first. If the dealer hassles you that you want to measure, then that isn't a dealer you want to spend money at anyways.

I have a Gunner kennel, be sure to check the door dimensions as well. Getting it in the truck was a bigger problem than the floor space. You probably need a kennel and a truck to confirm it will work.
 
Gunner kennels is one of the ones the boss is looking at, you have it inside or in the bed? Math says we got room once in there floor and roof wise, getting one in will be fun.

It’s in the bed now, but put it in the crew cab of my Silverado the day I brought him home. I can’t remember the sequence, but a seat had to go all the way forward to get it in and I think I had to go in the opposite door and slide it across. Also, there’s no tie downs in a cab and the high end kennel is useless if it’s not tied down when it’s crash effectiveness is needed.
 
They will be pretty much permanently setup in the back so I plan to custom mount to either seatbelt or seat mounts.
