Oh yeah I'm not new to any of this. I've had great results with Motorsport Tech/BORA wheel spacers and adapters in the past. They will make them any size you want, hubcentric to the vehicle, hubcentric to whatever wheel you're using, with or without studs. They do great work and are pretty fast too.

With a 17x8 ET 45.72, to get into the sweet spot that AEV uses, you'd need an 18.72mm spacer. 19mm or 3/4" would be close enough. That will center the tire up exactly where it would be with an AEV wheel that is ET 27. BORA will make a 3/4" adapter with studs hubcentric both ways at $400 for a set. I just don't think there is enough room for the studs in those pockets at that length, and before I cut studs I would probably just get some that were longer and use a basic spacer. I really need to get a wheel off and take a look at it, but I'm 12 days away from achilles surgery with a nice lengthy recovery afterwards so who knows when I'll actually be able to check it out.

Yeah, I was just looking at some old spacers. They are 15mm with built in studs and from H&R and I trust them to know what they are doing. So I was wrong about the minimum thickness on the spacer to run built-in studs. So 20mm or 3/4" spacer should work fine for what you're trying to do. I just checked out BORA and $150 for a pair spacers isn't bad. I may go that route too.

I wouldn't cut the truck studs, but I wouldn't mind cutting the spacer studs. Less work than swapping out the truck studs I would think.

Just waiting to do a few other things to the truck before deciding on my 37" setup. I still may ultimately go with new wheels.

Likely better off with new wheels, I just really like the 75th AE wheels I have. I'll also wear out these 35s before I buy 37s. Next thing I need to look into is a low-pro sharkfin so I can still fit in the parking garage at work. I doubt that's even a thing though.

37s stuffed with Thuren long travel suspension, airlift 5000 + airbags and Cooper 37x12.50 on 17 AEV rims.

Nothing sexier on these trucks then seeing them work.

This is at Rausch Creek Offroading Park from this past weekend.

37" Nitto Ridge Grappler 37x13.50R17LT on 17" Fuel Rims with Stock 4.10 gears.
Gas mileage is bad, but that's not why I bought a Power Wagon! I overland and will replace my 2006 Land Cruiser (anemic 4.7l V8) to to our travel trailer.
