How to deprogram 3 horn honks!!!

Maybe. Go to modules > body controller> configuration > search “csm3” and see if that setting is in the list.

Just a general side note about JScan- anytime you want to search an equivalent alfaobd setting in JScan, don’t use adaptations, use the configuration search in the body controller. The names of the settings are generally the same.
Did it tonight with JScan. Did exactly what @Jimmy07 suggested. It’s like the very last option “Unintended Engine something or other” but I disabled it and it worked like a champ.

I have everything attached again and working. Which csm3 setting controls it? The last three all show not set. Is it unintended idle alert?

I did change the “unintended Idle Alert”- which was the setting he mentioned in the video- from Not Set to set. I tested and got three honks. I then changed it back to not set. It still honks. Using Jscan vs AlfaOBD, there is not an alert on/off option. Only set or not set. Any other thoughts on getting Jscan to make this change?

It didn't work with JScan for me either on my 2023.

Sorry off the grid for a bit. That is what I did on my 24. Set the unintended idle alert to not set and it worked for me.

Has anyone experimented with the JScan User adaptation “Fobik safe alerts per ignition cycle”? This seems to be related to how many times it will warn you on the fob being left in the truck. The default is 2. Thought a zero might stop it from honking when you remove it?

That setting might be how many times you can attempt to lock the fob in the truck before it will let it get locked in. Default is, you can attempt to lock the fob in the truck twice, and it will automatically unlock the doors when you shut the door. On the third attempt, the doors won’t unlock, and the fob will be locked in the truck.

Thanks Jimmy. I tested it. Didn't help with the three honks. Looks like I am stuck with holding the fob on the door column! I forget that most of the time when it really matters. That is why it is the most hated feature!

Thanks for the update. Worked on your 2024, appears not to work on two different 2023. Mine was already “not set” when I opened that setting. Makes me wonder if alfaobd would show something different. I already changed everything else I wanted to change with Jscan. Hate to buy another license just to see it is already “alert no” on my truck!
Yah interesting. I actually just went out and retested to make sure I wasn’t full of chit but no it did work for me. I hope you figure something out because it is a really obnoxious function.

Has anyone figured out how to do this with the 2022’s? Perhaps it could be added to AlfaOBD?

I really dislike the damn horn honk!

I know it’s not ideal but I pulled out the horn relay. The honking was driving me nuts!
