Hard shifting on the diesels, both transmissions?

So, I've test driven like 3-4 with the 68rfe and one with the aisin, and it feel likes they shift pretty hard. MY 2018 with a 68rfe doesn't shift hard.

Is it just me or does the tranny (both of them) feel a little on the rough side? I compare it to a ford Superduty where you dont feel the shifts at all.

I felt that the ASIN was a stiffer shift. With that said, soft/smooth shifts is not what you want in any transmission for long life and efficiency. It builds heat and is accomplished by slipping the internal clutches.

My 2500 is a bit harsh going into reverse from drive. it's like the rpms raise as you transition and therefore it jumps into reverse.
