A deputy friend I worked with just send me a photo of the guy in the roof and he definitely qualifies for they/them pronouns. I’d post it but it’s a little bloody and the mods prob would ban me ;)

Don’t get too excited about your idea of him as being “one a them libruls”.

Former student Max R. Smith remembered Crooks as an intelligent classmate with conservative political leanings. Smith recalled participating in a mock debate in a course they took together, where their teacher posed questions on government policy and had students stand on opposite sides of the classroom to signal their support or opposition.

“The majority of the class were on the liberal side, but Tom, no matter what, always stood his ground on the conservative side,” Smith said. “That’s still the picture I have of him. Just standing alone on one side while the rest of the class was on the other. ... It makes me wonder why he would carry out an assassination attempt on the conservative candidate.”

Does it matter his politics ? He was a nut that took a shot at DJT. Thankfully he missed and was out down like a rabid dog. Not sure why you would want to point that out other than to make it seem like it’s somehow Trumps fault. Liberals ARE the problem in the US and if you can’t figure that out then you are already lost.
 
It doesn’t matter his politics, but if we’re going to say “he did this because of X”, then we should know what X is, not make assumptions. I neither said nor implied anything about it being Trump’s fault.

Anyone shooting at anyone else is terrible, and is a problem, no matter who they’re shooting at.

The problem in the US is that we can no longer agree on anything, and we only operate in absolutes now. You’re either 100% on my side or you’re the worst person in the world and don’t deserve to exist. But that’s the way the political parties want it, because “us vs them” is the best way to ensure that we don’t realize they’ve been screwing all of us for longer than most of us have been alive.

A real Republican doesn’t donate to the “progressive turn out project”. When I turned 18, my parents told me to register to vote and said your a republican. I wasn’t really political at the time but I like guns and rolling diesel coal. This kid looks like his parents might have done the same thing since he doesn’t strike me as much of a Republican by trying to kill the best one we have had in the last 40 years. But hey, who am I trying to kid…

I really shouldn't get in the middle of this, but I'll just say this.

In most states kids can register to vote if they get their driver license/renewed after 18, I expect now when registering for the draft, get registered in school (maybe under peer duress at the time?), or got marched in by there parents to register. Many states allow one to affiliate with one party and still vote in any party primary or national elections. Colorado does this crap and also allows unaffiliated voters (my son is one) to vote for any candidate, though I can tell you without a doubt he's voting Trump after voting for Obama twice. They even encourage people to cast spoiler votes for someone they don't want to go up against.

Starting to look like the kid was indoctrinated in some manner, and with damn near the entire democratic leadership and base, including the President, and the MSM making the statements they do - He's Hitler, Threat to Democracy, he's got a bullseye on him, etc. it was bound to happen sooner rather than later. The amped up rhetoric is making it worse. I even saw one broadcast where the commentator said Biden needed to put a bullet in him.

The nutjob progressive leftists (not saying all democrats) and the MSM brought this down on us. Period.
