Digital tow camera connection fails intermittently

I have the Mopar camera and kit with proprietary plug installed on my fifth wheel. It works initially when I plug it into the bumper port, but usually fails sometime during each drive. Fiddling or resseating the plug will fix it, only to eventually fail again. The problem is definitely with the plug and port, so what can I do to fix it. Should the pins in the receiver be narrower or farther apart? The fit seems good, but I could attempt to make plug fit more tightly in the port. I’d bypass the plug and port entirely, but when I unscrew the proprietary plug, I’m left with a strange inverted female RG58 connector, very atypical. Suggestions welcome. Pictures attached of plug and receiver (before I cleaned them).

This pin looks like it could be pushed in a bit:

I've watched several youtube videos on the wiring and it appears there are several quick-connections that might not be fully seated from the factory. IIRC there's one at the top rear driver's corner behind the headliner and another directly below it at the bottom of the cab (can't remember if it was inside or outside the cab).

I'm having the same interment problem. Sometimes it will happen once or twice per day. And other times can go a week with no issue. Following and hoping someone has a solution.
