I received it as well. I already did the CP3 swap earlier this year so I’m probably SOL but at least I’ve been driving my truck worry free for several months.

Just read an article that 2019-2020 trucks will be issued recalls for the fuel pump. The fix is to replace it. No idea which pump though. Ram/Stellantis acknowledged the recall today. Notification for the recall will roll out starting Jan. 1st

anyone know how long it takes for a HPFP to be replaced, assuming all parts needed are there?

Depends on if it's a replacement or a upgrade (hopefully).

When mine failed on a Sunday, I got it back on Saturday with new pump, lines, and in-tank pump. So a day of labor after approval.

Changing to the "CP3" will probably be a little more involved since mounting and front covers are different. But still a full couple days I'd guess.

That note about "repurchase engine" might imply that FCA has considered full engine replacements being easier for dealerships to swap vs doing front covers and such, then do retrofit/reman at another facility.

ETA: I've seen mention of HPFP filter screen and engines being inspected for POSSIBLE replacement due to suspect damage.

Until these start happening, it's still a lot of speculation what will actually be replaced in the recall.

And I Think to Myself, What a Wonderful World. The CP4 in my truck was so sh*tty, but after the recall a CP3 will be so Pretty. No more diesel woes, I'll finally have truck that tows..

Just found out today, first oil/filter change in my '19 3500 Std. Its added to the list for whatever the TSB/replacement action is now. Knock on wood no issues to mention on mine so far... other than the dealership whacking the antenna and one of the clearance lights by running it through a "Car" wash just before I took delivery.

What's the best way to find out if my truck is included in the recall? (I have a 2020 2500) I thought I saw somewhere a website that you could put your VIN into...

Google is your friend

First hit is Mopar recall look-up tool
Awesome, thanks.

Looks like I have a "Y78" recall against my rig. Called Ram and they acknowledged the recall but said they don't have parts in yet. They expected parts to be available in January.
