Code 2048 on my 2019 Ram 2500 4X4 HD 6.7L diesel

My truck throw the above code P2048 the other day and the check engine light came on with a message to see the dealer. I scheduled an appointment for this coming Monday. I am about 20 miles from the dealer, will the truck go to a Limp mode. Usually it will go to a limp mode if you run out of DEF (not sure if this is correct) I can erase the code, So how do you know if the truck is about to go to a limp mode?

It would/should display, "5 mph max speed in 200 miles Service DEF System See Dealer." if it's in jeopardy of going into limp mode.

Thank you, was able to drop the truck for repairs without any problems. Didn't notice any of the above warning. Now what would happens if I delete the P2048 code ( Curiosity, dealer will check/fix that code) when it comes back will it give me another 200 miles?
