I’m looking for someone that has the 12” Uconnect 5 and AlfaOBD to check a setting for me for an upcoming project. I’m looking to see what this setting is set to-

This setting won’t show up in an uploaded BCM log, so you would have to go through the motions as if you were going to change it, then, when you press start, it will show the current status of the component in the description box. Then just back out of AlfaOBD instead of clicking next. Thanks.

I’ve had my 2022 2500 with the 12” Uconnect 5 for about a month, I’ll check for you but I need to find out about the special bypass these trucks need to be able to do so.. the bypass I have from my 2018 1500 won’t work as I understand it..

If you have a bypass from a 2018 1500, it will work- mostly. Plug the smaller of the white connectors into the green canbus block that has the black base (the one closet to the back of the headlight switch). You will be able to connect and make all changes to the BCM. You just won’t be able to connect to any of the modules that are on the IHS bus (door modules, hvac module, amp, radio, etc). If you can do this for me , I’ll mail you the new connector and terminals you need to replace the other bypass connector with.

I think this what you're looking for

So Jimmy, are the pre-22 12: screens 1920x1200 capable?
We’re actually messing with that as we speak. The old screen isn’t working with the UC5, and is also a different manufacturer than the UC4 screens (back to harman). I’ve got a new screen coming in tomorrow, and someone else is logging messages right now when the above setting is changed in a pre-22 BCM, and the messages aren’t changing back and forth the same.
