Can someone help me with the setting changes needed to get oem led taillights to work in place of the oem halogen taillights. I bought both oem tails and the oem jumper harnesses just not sure of what settings need changed to do it.

I followed Jimmy's steps here on mine and haven't had any issues

Yes, if you currently have incandescent tail lights, you’ll need to make these changes:
CBC Features: LED Reverse Lamps Present- YES
CBC Features: LED Stop Lamps Present- YES
CBC Features: LED Rear Turn Lamps Present- YES
CBC Features: LED Tail Lamps Present- YES
CBC Config I/O Usage: Separated Lighting Brake Lamp Dropout- YES

Awesome. Thank you so much. I kept trying different searches on here because I knew I saw it before but I couldn’t find it anywhere.

So I’m a bit confused at the moment. I hooked up the jumper harness and installed the led lights and figured I’d see if they’d work or not before I did the alfaobd tuning. Well with the jumpers and oem leds installed and no settings changed in Alfa they seem to work. So I’m a bit confused at the moment seeing as how I replaced oem base halogens with oem leds.

Just noticed this thread, and even though I explained it in your PM, I’ll post the response here so others will know why they do need to use AlfaOBD for this swap:

The 2019+ rams are less picky about LEDs but, there’s something going on that you probably would never notice. Right now, with your new LED tails, when you apply the brakes AND use a turn signal, they are flashing red-amber-red-amber. This is because the brake lamp and turn signal LEDs are on the same board, and the brake lamp isn’t dropping out for the turn signal. The proper behavior when the brakes are applied and turn signal on is amber-off-amber-off.
So, you at least need to use AlfaOBD to change CBC Config I/O Usage: Separated Lighting Brake Lamp Dropout to yes. Since you have to do that, you might as well change the rear lighting settings to LED.

Hopefully this image shows up correctly. It shows the improper operation of the brake light staying on with the turn signal:

Could someone please help me find this on JScan
CBC Config I/O Usage: Separated Lighting Brake Lamp Dropout- YES

I have a 2022 3500 tradesman that I changed from halogen to LED tail lights.
I have already found in JScan And changed the settings for LED reverse lamps, present, LED stop lamps present, LED rear turn lamps present & LED tail lamps present and I have changed all those settings, but I cannot find how to get the brake light to drop out when the turn signal is on as shown in the above video.
Thank you in advance for any help
Richard

instead of adaptation, select module > body controller > configuration > and search that setting: Separated Lighting brake lamp dropout. I just learned this last night.
