Since the truck is for sale, there is no reason to install this turbo. The specs on it are 66.9/67 with a billet compressor wheel and a 10 blade turbine.
This is a custom built turbo that I worked with them on producing. This is a one-off build and it utilizes their proprietary HXR-669 billet wheel that is common in their 4th gen turbo builds. The parts in this turbo are all USA made and their engineer babied this through the build process. It took him 3 weeks taking his time. If it performs similar to their 4th gen turbos, this should be capable of producing over 60psi of boost as a single turbo and over 80psi if you decide to go compounds. Rated for 800hp+.
Powder coated red and comes with install kit that includes new gaskets. Only removed from the box to inspect and take pictures. Never installed.
Looking to sell for $2500 plus shipping. There is a core charge but I will be eating that cost. My loss - your gain and you can keep your old turbo. I will even throw in a large Turbo Time t-shirt that came with it.
Since it is a VGT still, it should have no change in lag and the truck should drive normal until you get on it. That's why I went this route instead of a 2nd gen swap or 3rd gen swap.
