Hello HDRams forum. I got my 2500 Limited 10 days ago. Yesterday I took it for a 300 miles drive trough Sonoma county. When I got back I noticed tire residue on the fender. Is this normal?

Thank you!

What @Daybreak said...

If you wan't to keep crap off your fender, you are gonna have to get some mudflaps... and if the OEM mudflaps for the 2500 are anything like the 1500, you are better off going aftermarket.

Howdy,
You drove over a freshly oiled, chipped, paved, whatever road.

Your going to need tar remover.

Actually it’s tire dust and it’s not sticky stuff. My question is: why? Is this normal? I also noticed that the tires were very warm.

Looks more like tire dressing to me. Clean it and don't apply anything to your tires.
I would bet it doesn't come back
