Hey Folks,

Great to find you all here. Brand new with a question - did the search and either didn't enter the right verbiage or . . . Regardless, there is a bag of parts in a bag under the driver side rear seat. Had the bed trim pieces and tire pressure monitoring valve stems in it, but there was another piece and I need some help. Anyone know what this does? Looks like a video connector - maybe! Where does it mount?

I think it's for when you or if you remove the tailgate from the truck.

You sir are a Master. Thank you so much - it's on pg. 78 of my user manual. Called a "chassis plug and bracket in your glovebox". And yes, it's for when you remove your tailgate and these parts protect the chassis terminals so they work when you put it back together. Brilliant! Thanks again! Glad to be a part of the HD community. Hope I can help someone too - pay it back.
