I couldn't find this refenced ANYWHERE else.

I just upgraded from a 2023 to a 2025 with the 14.5 inch Uconnect screen. On the 23, when using Carplay and Apple Maps, I could show the "next turn" (i.e. right on X street in Y miles) as a widget on the digital cluster. I found that super convenient as sometimes I'd be off of the navigation app on the main screen.

The 2025 has the same feature but it appears to have a bug.

It will sometimes show the next turn. Other times, it goes blank or defaults to just showing the name of the road I'm currently on. In general, it's very inconsistent and not very useful. I've tried updating my iPhone and changing Uconnect settings, but I simply can't get it to work consistently.

Any ideas?

Is there a mechanism to report bugs to Ram? I don't think this warrants a dealer visit as I know exactly how that will end!

My 2023 with the 12” has done this from day 1.

For anyone interested in tis, I've connected with RamCares via PM and provided the below details.

Will update this thread if we get anywhere. I can confirm this is very different behavior than my 2023 was... occasionally the widget would malfunction on that one as well but this bug is nearly all the time.

@jsalbre Would you say your 2023 is doing the same as below?

Yes, mine does exactly that. It’ll also sometimes get stuck on one direction, especially if I finish one trip and start another without restarting the truck.

Interesting.. I've never been able to see my Android Auto navigation anywhere but on the main screen. The only time I've been able to see the "next turn" in my dash is when using Ram's Navigation. Maybe I'm not playing with it enough and I haven't consulted the manual. I just assumed it would be a easy setup if it worked.

Good luck getting it all figured out, please let us know.

I believe the feature only works with Ram's built-in Nav or Apple Maps using an iPhone connected via Carplay. Even Google on an iPhone will not sync the next turn.
