2019 2500 Crew Cab, Limited, Kentucky Derby Edition, 6.7L CTD, Black

I went with the Kentucky Derby Edition because I prefer the Laramie Longhorn grille, and I really like the tan seats, but didn't want all the woodgrain that comes with the Laramie Longhorn interior. Also, I told the dealer to NOT put that Kentucky Derby decal on the truck.

Ordered on 07/29/19 (sheet attached).

Ordered 7/10. 3500 limited crew cab, dually, 4x4, 8' bed, HO diesel, max tow package, snow plow prep, sunroof, cold weather group, aux. switches, bedliner, trailer camera wiring, dual alt.,body color bumper group, level 1 equip., bed step, black.

They did the same thing to me. I had a refi worked out, and let them know that when I was checking out. They let me keep the rebates and lowered the interest rate, in exchange for me buying 2 years of bumper-to-bumper. With all the electronics, I figured that was a good idea any way. 5 years is a good time to trade if I choose to go that route.

I thought I had a deal worked out on a Power Wagon, but in order to get the dealer discount I have to go through Chrysler Financial for at least 4 months... at an APR of 6.9%, about double what I got approved through from my credit union.

Quite disappointing.

How are you all getting status on your builds? I'm getting only sporadic info from my dealer in spite of my regular queries. They sent the VIN and nothing since until, again in response to several queries, Monday they told me it is scheduled to ship next week. I was surprised how little info I'm getting in the computer age.

Thanks, Daybreak. I'm not having much luck with the dealer. They sent the VIN once and I lost the email. I've emailed them 3 times over 4 weeks asking them to send it again. They reply to each email but don't include the VIN in their response. I get cutesy, friendly, responses from the sales guy who keeps calling me bro, but didn't give me the family or employee discount, but no response to my actual request. They're 50 miles away but I guess I'll have to take the trip in to talk to them to find out what's going on.

I ordered a 3500 Laramie on September 3 with gasoline hemi engine, 4WD, long bed, single rear wheels in Delmonico red. Apparently there were only 9 single-rear-wheel, gasoline 3500s on the lots across the country when I tried to find it ready to buy but, of those 9, none were in Delmonico red. I guess not a lot of people want gas or single rear wheels on their 3500s.

I finally got the dealer to respond and resend the VIN. I didn't have the VON because I ordered it over the phone and now I have that, too. My order is in KZ - Released by plant and invoiced. I don't know what that means, though. The status sheet they sent today says estimated ship date was 9/23 from my 9/2 order. That would have been amazing had they made that date so I'm not worried that they didn't. It sounds like it will make it in the 6 to 8 week estimate that the dealer promised when I placed the order.
