I put my GM style mirrors back on the 2018. I had put the originals back on with the intent of trading it in on the new 2022 but decided to keep all three trucks.

All I did was drill a 3/4” hole in the center of the plastic cover, there is actually quite a bit of room between the plastic and the actual mounting brackets. Ran the wire back and tapped into the brown wire for the trailer plug. Also used lens tint on the lights so they would blend in when not on.

Thanks. Does the plastic cover just pull off?

Almost finished the subwoofer install. Had to redo the power wire to a bigger one. 4/0 power wire to rear circuit breaker. Then 2/0 to the amp. 2/0 awg ground wire that passes through the cab and goes straight to the frame. Two 12's in a fox acoustics enclosure, powered with a 3k watt amp.
Now I just need to mount the LOC, tune the system, and finish the seat spacers.

May want to clean the paint off your grounding location even if it grounds it wont be a good connection

Had a local shop put on the AEV bumper and brush guard. I’m happy with it. Might have to go Carli level and bigger tires next year, though. I think I have a disease, ha.
what size tires did you install?

Arts and crafts project tonight in preparation for a weekend trip.

Love bullet point and their mounts. They only offer a two arm mount for the 12" uconnect.

So, I ordered their universal mounting plate, two 20mm amps mounts, and handheld radio mount. I also picked up three 3.5" arms off of Amazon.

This allowed me to Frankenstein my own and to have a four arm mount. One for the gmrs handmic, one for my 2-in-1 cb, and one for my phone. The other arm is for my wife to mount her phone (if she feels like it).

Not sure if the placement will work for me, but it should reveal itself this weekend.

@Crusty old shellback answered all of my questions about the third brake light antenna mount from bullet proof diesel, but that will have to wait.

No pics, but I out some Midland magnetic antennas on the roof--6db for the gmrs and their recommended cb antenna; I still have to dial in swr.

I used magnetic cable mounts and zip ties to route the cables in between the driver side doors, through the body plug, and behind the driver side b-pillar. CB antenna plug comes out under the radio, above the center console (can see it in the pics above). Gmrs antenna plug comes out under the driver seat.

Just preventive maintenance stuff. 2nd oil & filter change, fuel filters, air filter and tire rotation. Nearing 20k on the ODO. Been holding off getting sulastic shocks, but the more I drive on crappy roads, I think I'm ready for a set.

What the hell happened there??
Sadly they didn't provide any details of the accident. But the pan was hit so hard it had a hole in it. Less than half a quarter of oil was left in the pan. The passenger control arm was bent to hell along with the track bar. Then on the body side it had fender, rocker, and bed damage.
