I have 2300 miles on mine and i'm having a couple small issues that will be addressed Monday at the dealer;
  1. at cruising speeds on freeway my hood wobbles really bad
Mine is a gas Longhorn, I love the truck and hope it is not at dealer longer than a couple of days.
Howdy,

Hood wobble - I pulled over 1 mile away from the dealership to check my hood. I had opened it and checked out the engine compartment and fluids at the dealer. I thought maybe I did not close it all the way. whew.... It was closed all the way. The drivers side gets a wobble like the hood is not closed, and is about to flip up open any minute. Not a nice sight seeing the hood wanting to lift vibration.

Also just noticed the bed of my truck is shifted about a half inch to the right. Hopefully it’s as easy as loosening the bed mounts and shifting it, but straight from the factory and it’s crooked. Love the truck but that’s 2 issues now, I think ram needs to spend some money on QC.

  1. drivers side ram box door is separating from the hinge. When I looked at it double sided tape holds it on.
  2. at cruising speeds on freeway my hood wobbles really bad.
  3. at cruising speeds on freeway my passenger mirror vibrates really bad, drivers side does not.
  4. surround sound does not work when using XM radio
  5. AC blows cold but not hard. I have to turn it all the way up and close off vents for it to feel normal.

If the AC is set up the same way as the 1500s this is a known issue with no resolution from FCA other than 'it is within spec'...

What box are you using? I need to upgrade mine too. Good fitting boxes are hard to find.

There is...its called a 10 in woofer, box and amp. :D

I took my single Apline Type S 10", Alpine MRP-M500, and box out of my 13 1500 Laramie when I traded it in for my beast. I thought the HK system was going to sound a lot better than what it did from the factory and was sadly disappointed. Swapped the HK 8" factory sub for the Alpine and it makes a WORLD of difference. Besides the sub swap, I LOVE my new truck. Tows my boat and trailers a lot better than the 5.7 5 speed 1500 did.

I have a 2019 2500 Laramie crew cab. My issue is that my right rear door does not lock reliably. I can lock my truck, and when I try to open the rear door, after pulling the handle from 1 - 20 times, the door will nearly always open.
So I got my rear door fixed at the dealer, and now I have noticed that the colored metal panel on the ram box lid is separating from the frame (on both ram boxes and only on the side at the rear of the truck). It looks like the panel is just glued to the frame and the glue is not holding up.

Looks like I have to go back to the dealer again for the second time with under 800 miles on the clock.

2019 ram 2500 mega cab with Cummins, driver side rambox adhesive is coming off so the colored panel is de-laminating. Based on some googling, I guess this is/was a common problem in previous year rams and most common on black trucks. My truck is also black.

I will be contacting my local dealer this week to get it fixed.
mine is doing the same thing.

Wait, what part is coming off? Is it just the "panel" or is there some structural part that is just glued on?

I have the same issue with the AC on my new Challenger. I also had this issue with my 2016 Bighorn and my Laramie. All were fixed by setting the temperature at 67 rather than 70 or so. All seemed to work well set that way.

My new Tradesman with Manual AC works fine.

- I also have the hood shake. Doesn't seem to be a huge issue, maybe a hardware fix in the future. Scared my wife a couple times though!

- A/C does NOT blow as cold as it should. I checked other trucks too, just to see if it was mine. They all have this issue. Having traded out of several Mopars in the last few years, none of them had this problem. ('13 300 S, '15 Charger SRT, '18 Durango SRT)
I was a Mopar technician for years and can tell you there is a flaw in the trucks' systems.

- Factory tires are crap. Mine are not balanced well, going to get redone this week.

- Surround sound does not work on satellite radio - that's normal.

To those of you with the AC problems, is it only when you have the AC temp set to Auto, or is the coldest "manual" temperature setting also not very cold? I am just wondering because I currently do not use the Auto setting in my Sierra, but tend to favor the manual adjustment. If the manual temperature and fan setting bring the temperature down nice and cold (without using MAX AC, which I believe just recirculates the cabin air), I can live with that. Otherwise, I may be second guessing my order for a 2500 Limited.

I’m having issues with mine, but it’s not the temp it’s the velocity of air. My AC blows ice cold but it doesn’t blow hard at all. I’m comparing it to a 2019 Ram 1500 and made sure I had the all the vents open and the 1500 on setting 1 is the same as the 2500 on setting 3.

I manually set mine to the lowest temp and leave it there... it simply does not blow cold enough, however it is 'within' spec.
Blower settings 1, 2, 3 are rather useless, 6 and 7 are too damned loud.

There is a lengthy discussion on the 5thGENRAM 1500 board about the rather pitiful AC in the truck...

Here is the thread Air conditioning performance

Only issue i am experiencing so far is with parts. I was promised factory remote start with my purchase. When the dealer got the parts they were not compatible with push to start, only keyed models. Parts for push to start are not available yet, check back in a month or two they said. Im looking to get a factory trailer brake controller, as my truck didn't come equipped. Dealer said ram doesn't sell the parts yet, and i dont plan on drilling any holes for an aftermarket controller. Also ordering a b&w goose neck receiver because the factory goose neck mounts are not available yet. In hindsight I should have gotten a truck pre-equipped with the options. But finding a truck with 4.10 gears was hard enough. I figured i could add the other options afterwards.

I have 2500 miles on mine. The only issue i have is the trailer tire pressure monitoring system and the trailer reverse back up camera are NOT included in the truck and will not be included until mid-late summer despite being a marketed feature. Im very upset about this.

My big issue is the 12” Uconnect in my truck. The navigation quit working at about 800 miles on the truck. I am having a heck of a time getting it fixed. The Uconnect people are having the dealer do a lot of trouble shooting before they will send a new one. I think they have finally decided the unit is overheating and that is what is causing the trouble. I guess they have a cooling fan in the unit and it is not working.

Otherwise, I was supposed to get the TTPMS as well as the camera kit fo rate camper. I plan to get the TTPMS as soon as it is available and probably the camera kit as well.

I am mostly satisfied with the HK sound system, except for the woofer under the rear seat. I may get a JL Audio sub and amp.

I also complained about the lack of base in my truck. I now have the mid and treble adjusted in the negative ( I thought it would only go to 0.... but my wife showed me it will adjust in the negative range ) and the base adjusted all the way up and now it sounds good with enough base.

Regarding the air conditioning temperature, TFLnow on YouTube just posted a video of a side-by-side comparison of the A/C in a Ram and a Ford. The Ford won by a landslide, but the test may have been flawed because the recycle option on the Ram may have been off as evidence and by the shot at the 7:00 minute mark in the video.
