I just got my new 2019 3500 limited this weekend and as I was driving home I noticed the touch buttons for the heated and cooled seats don’t work. Everything else works and that part of the screen isn’t a “dead” spot because buttons in the same place on other pages work just fine. Has anyone else had this issue or have an idea why this might be? I want to avoid the dealer if I have to but might have to have them look at it.

Got truck back from dealer... More issues than when I dropped it off... Frustrated to say the least...

Rattle still there. They couldn't determine source either. But I have parts on order that should be in next month so it'll be another trip to dealership for them to figure it all out...

Hi texas.yankee,
We are sorry to hear about your experience. When you decide to return to the dealer, please send our team a private message and we would be happy to get a case escalated to add an additional layer of assistance to this process!

I have started to notice that my backup camera is glitchy about 50% of the time right when it comes up. There was one time that the color was very distorted as well.
Another issue I'm having as well is that the climate control seems to struggle in any kind of heat sometimes. The AC on my 2015 would freeze me out of the truck if I left it on "Low".. this one doesn't even kick the fan on high on low

Have you tried "max AC" to see if that works? Why there is a separate setting for this that isn't included in "auto" mode is odd.

Yeah I just tried that and it does cool it down and kicks the fan up.. It just wont do it when I put the Auto setting to LOW temp which my last RAM truck did. Very odd. I'm getting solar tint on all the windows next week so hopefully that knocks down how much heat pours in from the sun and makes this a non issue

I have a 2019 2500 Laramie crew cab. My issue is that my right rear door does not lock reliably. I can lock my truck, and when I try to open the rear door, after pulling the handle from 1 - 20 times, the door will nearly always open.

Agreed... Max AC shouldn't be a separate selection! If you put the temp all the way down it should automatically kick on the max AC. Just don't know what they were thinking in that design...

Just curious, if it takes between 1 and 20 tries, how the hell did you find this? ;)
I found it because my kids would always try to open the rear doors before I unlocked the truck, and about 1 out every 5 times, the door would open. After this I started to experiment so I could reproduce it.

@RamCares would it be possible for you to review STAR bulletins to see if any of us are coming across known issues before we go to the dealer? It would be extremely helpful to have as much knowledge going in as possible so we don't get the runaround at the dealer

I noticed mine didn't cool quite as well either when I was in Phoenix the other day....it was 113 degrees, it kept it cool enough but not as cold as my 2016, but did get much better at highway speeds on the way home to Kingman

This is a known issue with the 1500s as well... the AC is just not very cold, a suggestion has been floated that the blending door lets in too much hot air.

My '05 had weak AC, and my '15 is definitely better, so I was hoping the '19 would be another step forward. Reading these comments has me worried. For all the endless problems I had with the many Fords I owned in the past, one thing that was always good was AC that could frost the windows.

The A/C on "MAX A/C" is quite cold, not Nissan cold, but cold. My problem is that it's a separate setting that you have to select, outside of AUTO mode. So you can hit that little blue arrow until it maxes out low and it's not the coldest setting. You have to then open the climate app and select Max AC... Just silly to me. Maybe a software update will fix it.

Howdy,
2019 Ram 2500 Limited A/C issue
Even at a moderate temp outside, 75, and the sun beaming, inside truck say 95, the a/c is very weak. Its like the inside temp sensor does not have the correct reading that it is hot inside.
Auto mode is suppose to do whatever to get it to that temp. Not here. Also, why so many pushes to turn on vent seat?

@RamCares can FCA work on something here? refrigerant? sensor? software update? The A/C is not working as expected.

I have 2300 miles on mine and i'm having a couple small issues that will be addressed Monday at the dealer;
  1. drivers side ram box door is separating from the hinge. When I looked at it double sided tape holds it on.
  2. at cruising speeds on freeway my hood wobbles really bad.
  3. at cruising speeds on freeway my passenger mirror vibrates really bad, drivers side does not.
  4. surround sound does not work when using XM radio
  5. AC blows cold but not hard. I have to turn it all the way up and close off vents for it to feel normal.
Mine is a gas Longhorn, I love the truck and hope it is not at dealer longer than a couple of days.

My .02,
Hood is Aluminum...thinner and lighter, mine does too.
Wheel may be out of balance causing mirror to shake...my front wheels were out of balance straight from Factory...SMH. (Dealer swapped wheels/tires from a different PW, assured all 4 were balanced correctly and inflated with nitrogen).
No issues with AC, can't comment on your other issues.
Good luck
