What did you do TO your RAM today?

I believe that may have been my problem. Did your flaps fit good with the spats? I’ll check my records and see if that was the flaps I bought. I did get them from BAM and when I returned them I thought they were gonna kick back on me as they responded to me and stated these were not for the Mopar flares. I’ll validate the numbers. Thanks
Ordered a set of flaps. Hopefully no issues this time around.

Completed installing the cabin temp sensor using a custom harness I made. Also installed the proper sun load sensor and auto HVAC bezel. I now have fully working auto HVAC.

I was only able to get the dual zone bezel working by leaving the HVAC configuration set to dual zone. If I tried setting it to single zone ATC, it would get stuck on defrost and heat. The touchscreen and manual buttons would get disabled. But setting it to dual zone ATC works with both zones set to sync and setting it to Auto. The bonus is the dual zone Bezel has better lighting on the dials and buttons.

I did not take pics but this procedure is fairly well documented.

It is pretty simple overall. I made a harness but you can get one made by M2 mods I believe.

Basically you have to replace one sensor and add another. The sun sensor on top of the dash has to be changed for the correct one. The factory sensor only has 2 pins and the correct one has 4. You also have to add the cabin temp sensor. There is a spot for it in the knee bolster panel under the steering wheel. This requires a harness and wiring to the existing HVAC harnesses found on the passenger side under the dash. It is a 4 wire harness.

Once this is done you use AlfaODB to change the config 3 HVAC Configuration to dual zone. Wait for that to take effect and then choose single zone. In my case, because I swapped to a dual zone bezel, I had to leave it set to dual zone. The second zone doesn’t actually work but you choose sync and auto and control the temp from the first (driver) zone.

If you don’t replace the manual bezel, you can just set auto from the climate screen on the radio.
