2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Found my Window sticker this morning. I hadn't checked in a few days, so not sure when it actually populated. No emails from Crypto. just me checking.
The only 2 things I have is the VON and Status: BX - Good order available for scheduling.

Talked to the dealer and was advised that the order is good and need to wait and perhaps it may end up a 2022 but, possibly not a 75th Anniversary.

Talked to RAM chat but, they could not help as the order is from Canada.

Talked to FCA customer service in Canada but advised that they see the VON but to go to the dealer.

Started messaging with RAM Cares but when they found out it was a Canadian order, correspondence stopped

I checked with Ram Chat today on my Big Horn that was ordered April 30th. They said that it has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment. What does that mean? Would it mean just stuff like the bed liner, or could it include additional packages like the tech package, etc.? Last week when I checked with them, they said they have obtained all of the parts and will be building shortly, so hopefully that means they just know need stuff that is not installed by the factory.

It is waiting bed liner, side steps, etc.

My build sheet popped up today. I was hoping it would. Build date was estimated as today. No emails frkm Crypto for me either.

Now it's time to plan the ride home vacation for my wife and I.

Wow that's great. I didn't get side steps because they weren't available so I guess I am just waiting on the bed liner package. I also just checked and I have a build sheet and the BSM is on there! How long have the bed liners typically been taking?

starting to wish I had ordered mine without the bed liner, tonneau cover and rear bed step now lol.

Good call. Well, if it is only a week or so, I don't mind waiting. One less thing I have to deal with!

I didn't get the side steps though because they were unable to add the painted wheel to wheel side steps I wanted. Does anyone happen to know the part number of them (or even a very similar nice looking aftermarket wheel to wheel step)? I am having trouble finding the proper ones at the Mopar site.

Mine went through that stage very quickly, maybe a day or two at most. Had bed group done. Not sure what else gets done there.

Good day all...been lurking and researching on this great forum a fair bit. Haven't posted yet, trying to be patient. Far east canadian order here, gave the go ahead to order a 2500 on Feb.11th. Just checked in with dealer and still in BX...my hopeful June delivery is certainly out of the question. Sales person did advise that if it were to happen to go beyond 2021 build dates that I would be getting a 2022 model but price protected with the price I was quoted back in Feb...not sure if that's true or not..time will tell...

Was told the same with regards to the PW-75 however in my case and even though the price is protected, I would lose out on the 75th Anniversary edition options.

I’ve tried everything including asking the dealership to escalate along with connecting with RAM Chat, FCA Customer Service and didn’t get far.

Just a couple of days ago, a member of this forum received his truck in Alberta and his order was put in February 27, 2021. Thus to say, there is some hope; depending on options and how the vehicle was ordered.

Sad to say though, if the truck doesn’t get built by the first or second week of July (July 27 is the beginning of 2022 builds), any specialty packages like the 75th Anniversary package is done

Best of Luck in hopes of getting the truck and Welcome to the Forum.

Arrived at the dealership today. Ordered 4/9. Under 8 weeks.

Hi everyone

here from southern Ontario

finally registered ordered a 2021 2500 bighorn on 4/10. Von and bx status

I had the dealer build a 2021 3500 Laramie on May 6. He calls me on May 7 and tells me they arent taking anymore 2021 orders, and that my build was converted to a 2022 model. So, I now have a 2022 RAM 3500 Laramie on order. No idea on price, timeline, or any enhancements from 2021 to 2022 yet... But at least it is ordered?!?!? Waiting game now...
Follow up to my order on May 7... I received my VIN / VON on May 17 (indeed is MY22). No movement since May 17, still "D" status as expected. Still have no idea on price, timeline, or any enhancements from 2021 to 2022. Hopefully some news is coming soon!!!

Welcome! I'm an Ontario buyer, and my order date is two days after yours. My salesperson fed me a line of unverifiable information when I sent my monthly request for an update, so take this with a grain of salt or two... But he said that the Saltillo plant had shut down temporarily and was going to be back up as of the 4th of June. Again, it feels like a line rather than genuine info, but that's what I've been told. He also said that all 2021 orders will be completed by the 24th of July, which makes sense given the switch over to 2022. At this rate I don't know if I'm hoping for a 2022 model or for them to just build the damn thing and get it to me, but it's been a long wait! For reference it's a 2500 limited mega cab, loaded with off road and snow chief package. I waver between hope and despair, but I love seeing the trucks other people are getting delivered.

Will be interesting to see if after the 4th if anyones builds go to D status. saltillo wasn’t one of the plants they were shutting down.supposedly

Saltillo….I don’t think the whole plant was shut down as vehicle were being pumped out. At the same time, they were celebrating their anniversary for the engine plant and commercial big rigs.

I only hope that Saltillo will pump all the trucks out by July 24 as July 27 is the first day where the plant pumps out the builds of 2022. Hence, much rather prefer my 2021 RAM 2500 Power Wagon - 75th Anniversary edition to get built than losing the 75’er lose the extra features.

Thanks for your input and here’s to a successful last builds of the Great White North.

Got a email today from my dealer moving my date by 6 days. So now instead of June 10 arrival, he^s saying the 16th.
I asked if the delay may have something to do with the big train wreck in New Mexico that shut down the tracks for a few days. Waiting to hear back.
