Center console upper organizer

Just installed this center console organizer in the truck.. This thing fits PERFECT and makes a huge difference in keeping things in place ! Should have came from the factory this way , Well worth the 20 bucks off Amazon !! :cool:D19E23C2-C98C-4DE7-A25C-04BBB60533E3.jpeg
 
Ordered the same one... only wish they had some color options other than red but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
 
I got something similar but found that the tops of the sections did not reach all the way to the top of the cover. Does this one? In the foam one I got, when the upper compartment was raised to access underneath, the contents got all jumbled and mixed. So I took it out and only use that section for large, soft items like a hat or gloves which are not impacted by lifting the top.

On this one, if you fill the sections with small items like pens, keys, etc. will everything still be in its original section after lifting the console to get to the compartment underneath?

coins and small thinner stuff will still move around but bigger things stay put.. I really like it but agree on wishing they had other colors.. I don't mind the red but other options would have been nice also .. I'll try and get a better pic later of how high the dividers come up..

Pens will still come out if the console is flipped up so I keep a microfiber towel on top of everything. Even with the papers I put under it (receipts, registration, etc.)

Don't put pens in the sunglass holder! The ink will seep out when heated.

I'm thinking of sticking a thin piece of foam on the underside even though it covers the cool easter egg.

Sounds like you found out about pens from experience!

Did you buy 4 piece or 10 piece? The rear floor piece storage looks pretty handy. Is ours the same size as 1500?

It said pens!

4 piece was all the had at the time.

I don't think I'd have a need for the 10 piece, plus I installed a (budget) locking cover on my driver side floor storage bin.

Maybe instead of putting foam on top, you could put it under the organizers so they meet the lid when it's closed

Then it protrudes up in the space and doesn't fit as well.

I'll just keep stacking fuel receipts under it. Summer towing season coming, it won't take long to give it a little lift.

the divider is only about an 1 inch or so tall.. so papers and coins are gonna move.. i have 2 sharpies and a pen in the pen divider and they stay put.. It works for me and for the money I really like it and how well it fits.. plus ya can still use the USB port...
