2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Ordered Easter weekend and was told my truck is in Illinois waiting for a ride to west Michigan.

Just curious how much people are saving ordering through Bud Clary? My sticker price was $65,115 and I'm paying $61,190 through my dealer which I thought was really good
71,825 sticker, paid 61,400

Thanks, I appreciate the help!

Still waiting for them to call back with confirmation on the order and VIN #. I'm hoping worst case i get a black 75A-PW. Based on the some of the responses on here, I may have missed the window entirely and will have to look at your list.
Fleet Order will officially begin June 14, 2021 and HD Builds begin July 26, 2021.
Between June 14 and July 26, there will also be “Down Time” for mechanical retooling (if needed).

I think we all posted this in the MSRP savings thread.

Just heard that my truck is sitting at the Kent, WA transfer area near Emerald Downs. Should hear back in the next day or so once it has been collected by Bud Clary. Received the finiance application to fill out.

Any other things I can get completed to minimize my time sitting at the dealership?

Man that’s so close just down the road. Mine is at the dealer and I’m stuck in CA for work. I need to get finance paperwork and stuff also so I can streamline the process when I pick it up.

I’d figure out if there’s any extras you want that finance usually offers and get those prices ahead of time if you can so you don’t have to do the back and forth for extended warranty or whatever you might want.

My father ordered a Hydro Blue Pearl on 4/20 when I placed my order. You must have just missed it.
I wonder whether it was an issue of not being available on the 75th anniversary edition. Checked my email and the exchange was before the 20th. Haven’t seen any Hydro Blue 75ths. Doesn’t mean they don’t exist, but maybe they don’t.

I order all of the trucks for my company through Enterprise Fleet and have been waiting for a truck that I ordered for myself to progress from "order received" to having a production date. Truck was ordered and confirmed as received by Ram on 2/23. I checked the progress of my truck this morning and was shocked to see that my order was gone... I quickly emailed my fleet company and learned that ALL orders that have not started production have been cancelled. I have included his email below. Hopefully you all have better luck that I just did. I am a Dodge/Ram guy so, yes I will be reordering when possible. Just thought someone would like to know. LOL 14 weeks of waiting down the drain!!

– I found out late yesterday that Ram did in fact cancel outstanding 2021 orders that weren’t currently in production. Talk about bad timing from our conversation yesterday – I was gathering some information and potential solutions before I gave you a call this morning.

I am already talking with a dealership in Oregon that has a truck very similar and have reached out to A P from Ram to see if he can assist in locating a replacement truck as well.

IF we can’t find one out of dealer inventory the 2022’s are slated to open up in mid-June and they are quoting a 16-18 week lead time.

I know that this is definitely not the news you wanted to hear and not news I wanted to have to tell you, but I will do everything I can to get you your truck.

"cancelled outstanding 2021 orders that weren't currently in production?" Does this mean if "all parts have been received" but it hasn't been built yet my order will be cancelled?

If you're interested in extended warranty, take a look at Zeigler. Thread on 5thgenrams.com with more info, and a discount code.
Let me know if anyone used the Zeigler prices to leverage the same Mopar warranty from Bud Clary for a better price.

The Power Wagon shouldn't have been impacted by the chip shortage. When RAM did their press release on the package modifications due to the chip shortage, there were a few models listed as not impacted. It was primiarly the higher trim models, which makes sense because no one is going to buy a Limited or whatever, missing top-tier specs.

"The note to dealers stated that Limited Longhorn, Limited, Ram 1500 TRX, and Ram 2500 Power Wagon packages will remain unchanged for the time being." Source

I think Canada just gets the short end of the stick for some reason.
I think you got that last statement right I,m coming up to 14 weeks in D status 21 weeks seems to be the ticket up here, you guys in the States will probably be getting 2022,s before I get my truck should have bought a Lambo think it would pull my trailer

Thats is just down right rude

For those tracking timelines:

Ordered: 3/16. 2500 Limited Mega Cab
Arrived at dealer: 5/25. I am able to pick it up as early as tomorrow. Right around 10 weeks.

Ship date from factory was around 5/14 or 5/15. It showed up at the Rolla, CO distribution center yesterday. Dealer is in Colorado Springs.

This will be somewhat of a final update for me on this thread and perhaps some good news for those with current orders through Phillip Olson waiting to be fulfilled by someone at Bud Clary.

I've been passed to a salesperson who has been very responsive. He pulled my paperwork this evening and talked to his Sales Manager at my request to verify no foo-foo games will be played with Phillip's price once i fly there and physically arrive.

He has assured me, per the Manager, that no games will be played, quoted price will be honored. Sigh of relief. MSRP on the truck is $81k, Phillip sold for $70,xxx.

Anyway..

Ordered 11pm on 3/31
VIN number 4/2
D status 4/5
D1 status 4/19 with "projected ship date of 5/4" per the dealer (Phil Olson at the time)
Build sheet 5/4--Im assuming truck was built/finished this day and passed final inspection
Window sticker 5/5--Likely that truck has shipped or is waiting to ship
Ram Chat is advising a delivery window to my dealer of 5/19 to 6/2
Truck arrived at Bud Clary 5/23 so the Ram Chat window proved to be accurate. (ended up being roughly 2.5 weeks for shipping)

Order to dealership arrival was almost exactly 7.5 weeks.

Hope to follow up with a picture and more good news later this week.

Hearing essentially the same thing from my dealer. Wondering if FCA will covert those late 2021 orders to 2022 orders.

Finally was able to get an update on my truck! I have an estimated delivery date of June 27th which puts me just over 23 weeks from the time I ordered which is a far cry from the 12-14 weeks I was quoted. No word on whether it will be a 2021 or a 2022 but it will have everything that it was ordered with apparently. Hoping it actually shows up ahead of that delivery date as I will be camping and between paying for delivery of my trailer and a short term lease I have racked up a ton of extra bills due to how long my truck is taking . Really hoping Ram throws customers a bone and makes them 2022's to help with depreciation.

On a plus side my truck is at least moving ;)

Ordered 2021 2500 bighorn 4/20/21 with cummins, level B, tech package, and a few other goodies. Made it to Kent, WA 5/17/21 and it made it to bud clary and was supposed to ready for pickup Monday 5/24/21. I had work Monday and had planned for Tuesday afternoon pickup until I was informed it was getting a whole new front bumper because of transport damage. Bit of bummer on a new truck, but I appreciate their transparency on the damage.
