2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Received my truck yesterday. (details in signature)

I'll update with some photos when I get around to taking them. Oddly enough, I took none at the dealership, and was more concerned with getting home than stopping along the way to snag any. 2AM garage shots don't really do it any justice either.

Long story short, Phillip and the rest of the staff at Bud Clary were great. Paid exactly what we agreed upon. No games, no upsells, no finance issues, etc. AND, I was in and out of the place in maybe an hour or so? Can't complain about that at all. They even had someone grab me from the airport, which was great.

The only gripe, and I'd like to make it clear this isn't necessarily _their_ issue, is the out of state registration process. They are mailing all the docs to my local DMV, as you'd expect, but I only have a 3 day travel plate right now so I'm a bit concerned with the timing of everything. Thankfully I do have a second vehicle, and I work from home so I should be good assuming it isn't some kind of massive time lapse. And, I may be counting my chickens before my eggs, as the paperwork may arrive today and I'll be at the DMV tomorrow -- which sounds kind of unlikely, but we'll see. Anyways, I could see this being a problem for some so I thought I'd share. And again, this would probably be my only "complaint" of the whole experience, and it's more of a process issue than something I would pin on the dealership.

If anyone has any specific questions about the whole thing, let me know. I don't really know what else to talk about, as it really was the most standard and painless car purchasing process possible. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

This is great news! I talked to Phillip yesterday, my truck is in Oregon... so we are very close to delivery. I plan to be at the dealership next week.

Got an update from the Dealership. Rail Ship Date 5/18 and Ramp ETA 6/1. Ram Chat said estimated delivery of 5/27 - 6/10.

I'm guessing more like 6/10. Don't think it could realistically get from Mexico to Nebraska in 8 days.

Well I got the word, she got to the dealership yesterday. Order date was Feb 2/21. So 15 weeks to the day. Unfortunately I wont be able to pick it up until next Wednesday. We are all packed up for camping, leaving tomorrow and not back until Tuesday. It will be the longest week ever. She hasn’t been cleaned up yet but here is a couple photos

75th PW, got the build sheet today.

4/13 - Order Placed, VON issued
4/14 - Received VIN
5/3 - D1 Status
5/19 - Build Sheet

Anyone with a late '21 build seeing Uconnect 5 in the sheet? Under the '21 MY Ram website, it says "if" your truck has uconnect 5 it will do wireless carplay.
I'd hoped this would accidentally appear on my build. No luck, 4C here.

Glad to hear it went smooth. Mine should be there any day or already is. Unfortunately I’m out of town till the 29th so my luck it will be there sitting ha. Did you set up financing prior to? I’m sure it helped if you did as I plan to go into finance with nothing extra just the truck and possibly paint protection film if they are competitive with pricing. What incentives were you able to use?

Yep. I always go with my own. Like to know what my "worst case scenario" is.

I used The 1000$ RAM coupon. I had a PenFed one, as well as a TrueCar one, but they wouldn't stack as they were all TDM codes.

That makes sense, I’ve yet to get a ram incentive and the true car from what I’ve read I need to hold of until I’m ready so it won’t expire this month as I’ll get back into WA the 29th. What does TDM code mean?

I believe it's Targeted Direct Mail, or Marketing.

When you do pick it up, please report back here what they offer for tinting, PPF, etc.

Yeah, I expected the True Car couldn't be stacked with the Ram Cash since both are TDM. Takes a little of the $500 sting away from not being able to get a new $1k ram cash coupon! Will do the allstate after the fact for $250 - so all in at $750 incentive. Wish it was higher, but is what it is.
Thanks for heads up on the temporary tags. That's what I figured; I'll probably be driving around town "illegally" for a few days until the California registration gets squared away.

So I ordered my'21 PW truck on 04/09 2021 But I don't think the dealer sent the order in until the 21st as that is when he texted me to finalize the build order and find out could he do the mono tone paint.
Options included the 75th package, Bed utility group and the mono tone paint. We didn't do the tri fold bed cover as that would delay the build.
Today when I got home from work, I looked for my window sticker and finally found it.
YEA ME!
So truck should be shipping soon. Can't wait.

My driveway slopes down to the road where I'm standing, and the bed is right at the edge of the garage, creating a bit of an optical illusion. Its a big ass truck, but thats an 8' door, so it fits just fine. With the 5th gen 4Runner next to it no less.

4 months to the day, my PW arrived at the dealer this evening. First arrival window back in Feb was 4/4 and 2 weeks ago was told 5/20-6/3 so it was actually a day earlier. Hopefully everyone else waiting gets some good news soon!

How close is the Ram Builder on the website compared to the options you select with the dealer on an order? I am hoping it is pretty close so there will be no surprise research coming my way. I keep looking for the 2021 builder to come online since apparently new orders will be 2021s.
