Please Post Payload Sticker from Driver's Door Jamb.

I still should be ok then when new one gets here.
Hey Hoff, I keep meaning to ask you but I forget. When you had the factory air bag blow out on your 2500 did you have an overload message On the EVIC when you hooked up the trailer? I am asking because I have not been able to find any information on how much weight you can put in the 2500s and 3500s before the overload message pops up.

‘19 2500 Laramie Crew Cab, Cummins, Level 2, power running boards, Bed Utility, Towing Tech. Picked it up yesterday after only a five week wait on the order.
This is an impressive truck - my first Cummins after driving gassers for decades (and 1500 Ecodiesel the last three years). Haven’t set up for the TT yet, but I expect it will perform as advertised.
By the way, it was delivered with ~90 psi in the tires! The sticker says 60.....the testers I drove before ordering were the same. The ride is so much better at spec rather than the max psi for the tire!
Anyone else experience this?

My truck also was around 90 when I drove it home from the dealer. No clue why they over pressurize like that.

They will over pressurize the tires when they deliver vehicles by rail to keep them stable when tied down. That means your dealer didn't check the pressure during PDI.

Thanks! Of course now I wonder what else wasn’t done that was supposed to be. I did get full DEF and diesel fill at least.

I just ordered my 2020 Longhorn Edition. 3500, 6.7 L HO, 4X4, Crew Cab, 8' Bed, SRW. Wondering what my GVW will be.

I did not. No messages at all. While I’m STILL Waiting for my new 3500, since then I have towed me same 5th wheel a total of 600 more miles without any issues. Have learned to put air bag system on Alt Trailer height to take some pressure out of the bags though AND no big bumps.

I know this chart shows it at 4420, I am expecting it to be a little lower but I'm also hoping that they up the capacity on the 2020's.

If anyone has this set up what are your numbers?

FWIW - from mopar.com
Max Payload

1510 lb (684.92 kg)

Max Towing

10350 lb (4694.68 kg)

Off by about 90lbs payload.

I'm just curious and no offense intended but what's the draw to the Power Wagon? I see them consistently having the lowest payload ratings of any in this thread - some not even close to having actual 3/4 ton payload on a 2500 truck - so what's the draw?

Here's what they're telling me on the web for my ordered gas SRW LB. Hopefully, soon enough, I'll know what the door sticker says.TowingAndPayload.JPG

Maybe this will be easier to read. Sorry about the duplicate post.

All that info is here on the site. In this thread actually.

We have tried pointing that out. People still want to be angry when their truck doesn't have what it shows.

Sorry.

That should help.

The draw to the Powerwagon is having a capable offroad truck that can tow.

The Powerwagon suspension is what loses the capacity.

It is setup for articulation and a better offroad ride .

Most do not use a Powerwagon for what it is meant to be, but those who do will completely understand.

And then there is the Tradesman with Powerwagon Package if you need a bit more capacity but all the capability

With a 1 ton the numbers are closer than a 2500 and much much closer than a 1500.

But, they are for a configuration and not a specific truck.

That is all explained here also. But if need be we can discuss it again. I enjoy talking about what these trucks should do, could do, and can do.
