I wouldn't listen to Ramchat.....they told me "congratulation, your truck is built and awaiting shipment" Dealer told me the same day it arrived in the train yard and offload awaiting truck my way. Those guy always gave me a big window. Unfortunate but seems almost worthless.

I ordered in campbellford Ontario.
Ramchat won't help canadian orders.
fca canada says talk to dealer. Dealer says nothing they can do.
Still has not changed.
7 weeks in Friday. And still not built.

I'm in Burlington Ontario, ordered in Oakville. I ordered my nearly fully loaded Limited megacab Jan 15 so nearly 13 weeks in and mine still has not been started. I had RamChat give me details last week before they realized they were breaking Canadian privacy laws and they hung up on my chat lol. You got your VIN number way faster than me though

So theres glimmer of hope that Ramchat is way behind and my truck could potentially be delivered any day. (Wishful thinking, I know)

I agree, but right now it is the only source of info I am getting. The dealer has not gotten me anything different than what Ramchat has. I have already expressed my displeasure. I'm not mad, just disappointed.

Same here. Dealer has been about useless. I get that they have other fish in the fryer but I'm important too lol.

At first my dealer was giving me no info. When I reminded him about the survey we will get after purchase it seems he is paying a bit more attention to my order :)

Same here, my dealer has been giving me the same response as RamChat. My truck has been stuck at the body vendor for 6 weeks now!

If FCA doesn't know what is going on then I would think that the dealer wouldn't know either. I have tried being very patient with my dealer as I understand they have no idea when my truck will be finished and shipped. 7 weeks and counting for me waiting for "...your vehicle is built pending installation of additional features or optional equipment."

However, I am starting to get very frustrated. :mad:

Well I decided to press a little harder with Ram Chat and finally got a different response. The initial response was “your vehicle is built pending installation of additional features”. I politely asked what the hold up was and I’ve received that same response for the last 6 weeks...then she went on to say the plants have been shut down due to microchip shortages and will resume production shortly and listed all the plants that are currently shutdown.

I noticed the Saltillo plant wasn’t listed and told her my 2500 was built there so her explanation doesn’t make sense. She finally told me that my truck is complete and waiting for shipping arrangements...hopefully she’s not blowing smoke.

Well, that would be nice to know if the parts have arrived and are installed! I have not been updated.

Have you been able to pull your Window Sticker?

My dealer did say that they are currently getting NO 2500 or 3500 deliveries, so maybe we are waiting for rail cars to fill up?

Very similar situation to me and a very similar truck, but mine is the 6.4 Bighorn, Level B etc....

Order 2/27
D Status 3/10
NO MOVEMENT SINCE.... STILL IN D STATUS, has not moved to D1 so not even a build schedule yet.

In Alberta, Canada here and dealer just blames Covid and tells me there isn't much they can do. I feel like it will be 6 months (end of Summer) before I get my truck. I hope I am wrong, but with everything going on with constant delays on parts supply, shipping etc, it's not looking good, and who knows what Ram might decide to omit from the build! Already hearing stories of only 1 key fob and the like, so what else will they remove without telling us? I'm actually considering cancelling my order and just finding a truck in stock somewhere.... even though I want my build!

Ordered Dec 14 Norwood ont , ship date of April 8th, Unfortunately Canadian orders take a while.

Once shipped, only get updates from Dealer.
