2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

It’s too bad not all orders sail through like you‘re order is. Congrats.
Yea..From what I’m seeing on here compared to other guys that ordered trucks, it seems to be going pretty quick. My buddy just ordered a 2500 Big Horn on 3/9 and the info that he got puts it behind mine...we’ll see

Quick question, I'm in the process of ordering my 3500 HO. Decided on the Limited trim level, does anyone know if the truck will be affected my the chip shortage? I read on here that the shortage wasn't going to affect longhorns or limiteds, but when i do my build on the website I don't see anything listed for the blind spot monitoring with trailer blind spot. Is that because the truck isn't going to be coming with that or is that a standard option at the limited level? Thanks for the help from anyone who knows. As soon as my order goes through today I'll list out the build.

I think what you read is old news. I think you might want to get an update on that from wherever you are ordering from

Just as a heads up, I ordered a fully loaded CCSB SRW Limited HO on 12/14/20 it is just now out of Mexico on its way to my dealer. The chip shortage wasn’t supposedly a problem when I ordered.

I dealt directly with Dave Maestes, sales GM. He assigned a junior to do all the legwork. Junior only got a "mini" commission so I threw him a bone (Amazon gift card) when I picked up the truck.
Nice! That's a good idea with the gift card too. It doesn't look like I got as high up the food chain as you did, but I think I have a similar situation. Kenny Castro is the lead and Jason heermance has been keeping me informed throughout the whole process. They have both been really good for me. Hopefully I'll be picking it up this week!

Safety group "B" when I ordered had dropped the Blind Spot Monitoring due to chip shortage. I notice that now on the ramtrucks site Safety group B has no listing of what it includes. What I really want is the digital rearview mirror. On my test drive I noticed that when I lost sight of the vehicle in the digital mirror it had already appeared in the side view. Seems to have a markedly decreased blind spot just with the digital mirror.
I ordered my 3500 with safety group B on 3/7. My dealer sent me my order sheet and it has the digital mirror but no blind spot. Hope that helps.

It's a pdf download. This may sound like a stupid question but did you hit the button to download again. If not then you're looking at the original pdf download that said "no window sticker available". You must re download every time you check.
I tried that and also clearing my browser cache and opening in a new window. Same message - "Sorry, a Window Sticker is unavailable for this VIN" (even though it says "found" on the Cryptostickers lookup). Anyways, I will just keep checking daily. Might try Ram chat and see what they can tell me about my order.

New guy here
Tradesman 2500 crew:
Ordered 3/29
VIN 4/1
Shipped 4/8
Build sheet 4/9
Window sticker 4/10 (emailed)
ETA dealer 4/27-5-11
WOW - Well, good for you..... 5-6 weeks from order to delivery! I have been waiting 7 weeks and mine hasn't even been built yet.... then the long slow trip North to Canada.... I'm sure they will have released the 2022 models by the time I get my truck. If only Ram would pay the depreciation back in rebates!

Ordered my truck on February 18th, and I just now spoke with the salesman who said that it should be there on Tuesday the 13th. So I guess that is about 7 weeks total.
I had already purchased plane tickets for my daughter and I to fly up there on May 1st. Guess it will sit at the dealership for a while.

Thanks for the heads up, I talked to the dealer and was told that’s a standard feature with the limited trim. So it looks like anybody who goes limited won’t have to deal with the chip shortage problem

Well I hope not for your sake but I also read that Some trucks are being built and put aside waiting on chips. The article was not specific as to which ones

Gift card?? When I bought my last travel trailer I gave the sales man a iced down 12 pack in a disposable cooler. Yea he'll never forget me and Mrs skreef.

That may be why your truck is moving right along because it is not loaded up with a lot of tech stuff.
I believe thats why I waited only 50 days from day of order until delivery to dealers lot.

30 something young married dad working for scraps will most certainly remember the customer that handed him $100 to spend when that's all he got for his sales commission. ..
