2020 Fuel Cap options

I want to put a fuel cap on my truck and my first choice is Geno's, but they are BO until 04/30, second choice is Sinister Diesel (which is the only other company I'vefound), and although I get a $10 off my first order from Sinister, which brings their cap down to $29.....shipping to me is $20.....I guess that shipping charge for that little cap sticks in my craw a little, so thought I would ask about other optional companies.

I would wait for Genos.
 
If you don't want locking just get whatever Amazon cheapo thing you can find.

If you want locking, wait for Geno's. Don't "wait" though, order, so when they come in they are shipped out. The demand is so high I bet the website never says in stock. When I bought mine they said 1 month expected wait and sure enough, a month later they showed up.
 
When I ordered my Genos they had plenty of caps, the keys were the item causing delays. Very happy with mine BTW.
 
This post reminded me that I've been meaning to order a locking cap from Geno's. They're a little spendy, but look like a quality part. I like the idea of making it harder for someone to mess with it, seems like money well spent. They're saying 4/30 for the backorder

I would either just wait or do both.

Per the preppers motto: Two is one and one is none. ;-)
 
I purchased my cap, with locking key when I purchased my 2019. It’s a high quality unit and works great. With the rising costs of fuel and the winter weather all the dirt and dust could get in the neck eventually. Dirty fuel is a really big problem for a diesel truck.

I purchased it online from Geno’s garage make sure you check the correct year and cap for your particular truck year. The fuel cap is green. Go

Genos told me the locking caps fit the new trucks. Also the keys are the same for DEF and FUEL. Each comes with two keys so if you get the set you will have lots of spares.
