2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Ordered 2/15
VIN 2/16
Build date 4/4, then 3/31, now 5/2
wish they could figure out what is go on.
I know I’m as bad as a 5 year old as Christmas, but I want it now!

What is status? D1 it sounds like? Wonder if they are having trouble collecting the parts you need for yours or?

Not sure what the status is but dealer sent me something that looks like the window sticker. Hope whatever parts they are waiting for show up soon.

3/24 Ordered
4/5 Received VIN from FCA Group

how do you post anything on this topic area? I cant find the posting button anywhere.

My truck made it to Cheyenne last night. Should be in Denver today. Then it's waiting on the crossload to Castle Rock.
When did your truck leave the Saltillo plant? I'm waiting on mine here in Denver too.

Ordered 2/26, still stuck in D status... no movement for the last 2 weeks, no idea when my order will move to D1, so still no ETA for shipping. 6 weeks now... im now thinking it will be around 6 months before I see my truck based on the progress to date.

The crappy part is that by the time I get my truck, the 2022 model will be out, which is sad. I feel like a wait that long should justify additional discounts from FCA. Especially if the 2022s are out by the time I take delivery! Gets me thinking... might be worth the question if that does happen....

Received the information from my dealer, which is Rick Hendrick in Charleston. Will be getting update today, to confirm that boat has indeed left for Brunswick.
Well, I always knew the hurdle would be with shipping! New ETA for arrival into Port of Brunswick, GA is now 4/16.

How can you track where the vehicle is? All I know is, the truck shipped and can't seem to get any info other than the dealer will call me when it arrives.

I think our trucks are probably sitting next to each other somewhere. My ETA to dealership in MD shifted back 4 days (now 4/20-5/4 from 4/16-4/30)

3 days ago mine was sitting in "Piedras Negras", waiting on a reply from the manager to see if there are any updates today.

I am hoping to find out what it is they are waiting for to report back here, so anyone who may have ordered the same feature/equipment will know why their order is delayed.
Well, it sounds like my truck is waiting for the Blind Spot Detection chip, I have no ETA... Great

Exactly why I opted to just omit it. Heck I would like to have it but my current truck doesn't have it and I haven't hit anything yet. It sucks that it's not available but a new truck is depreciating every day we get closer to 2022.

My dealer is telling me the same thing. Says Blind Spot and Spray-In Liner is holding things up.
Ordered Jan. 28 and only have a VON at this point. On the fence about dropping the two options
to get a quicker delivery.

I opted to skip both of those but my reasoning on the liner was two fold - any additional options like the bed liner go to a vendor for installation delaying shipping but more importantly was the cost. Mopar wanted 600 for the spray liner when I can get it done for 400 locally. Dealer has been instructed to send the truck down the street for the liner spray on the day of delivery. Takes about four hours. Might seem petty but 200 is 200 and I also have the local warranty.
