2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Anyone that ordered a Power Wagon in mid Jan have any movement yet? I ordered 1/18, VIN 2/2, estimates delivery 4/4 and have been stuck in D for well over a month. Ram chat keeps telling me it’s sequenced for build with all parts lined up

Ordered 1/16, VIN 1/29, no build sheet as of today. Got this message from customer care March 25th:

"First, I would like to say congratulations on ordering your all-new Ram 2500 factory order.

My name is Jeff and I will be monitoring your vehicle order throughout the build process. We are anxious to get your vehicle built and shipped to your dealer as quickly as possible and want to assure you that your order has our attention and priority.

I presently show your order is sequenced for production with an estimated production plan timing reflected as 04-05-21. Please keep in mind, this timing is estimated only and is subject to change.
I have presently reached out to our logistics teams to ensure your order remains prioritized for the earliest production possible.

I have set my next scheduled followup with you for your order or email responses for April 8th at the absolute latest, but will reach out to you further as soon as there are additional updates to share on your order.

Thank you for your loyalty and we’re proud to have you as a member of the Ram Truck Family!

Sincerely,

Jeff
Ram Information Center"

^^^ Canned response. Sorry for the delay in your build. He won't follow up with you and no offense but your truck is no more of a priority than any other truck they build. That is the part that sucks.

I believe any correspondence you receive from “Jeff” is a computer generated “canned” response. I have received a few of them. If he was truly in tune with orders, I would have received one when my truck finally left the Vendor after 42 days. Nothing yet.

How can I get a canned reponse, at least its some sort of response. After 6 weeks I got a VIN whoopie, I,ve worked auto assembly lines and there are always delays even without covid, I just like the idea that I have a brand new Ram 3500 on the way and it will eventually get here and still be new not a used 2016 for 60k with 200k on it. Enjoy your Rides Their only new once

Ordered my 3500 Monday. Had a VIN Tuesday. Was told 6-8 weeks. Crossing my fingers!!!

Thought I’d post here too. The saga continues...picked up my truck yesterday, ordered 12/5. After a nearly 2 month delay due to a “quality inspection”, today I get a “service air suspension immediately” warning. I get under the truck to check everything out and this is what I find...blown driver’s air bag. The truck has 115 miles. Obviously I haven’t towed anything yet, I haven’t even gotten through break in. I called roadside to get it towed back to the dealership and they tell me they can’t find it in the system under the VIN and since it doesn’t show under Chrysler’s insurance, they can’t tow it at this point! Obviously I’ll be calling the dealership in the morning. I cannot believe this...View attachment 13965View attachment 13966View attachment 13967View attachment 13968

Just out of curiosity did you drive that thing through the mud on the way home from the dealership or just bad roads/weather? Looks super dirty underneath.

It appears the bag was not seated properly between the axle and frame, one photo shows the air fitting broken off/ or unscrewed?

Nope! Just on the highway, beautiful weather. My salesman said it was one of the dirtiest vehicles they’d received. Keep in mind it’s been back and forth from IL to TX a couple times before delivery...

Got it.

The passenger front wheel was damaged in shipping as well, but the dealership pointed that out to me when I picked it up. They already have a new one on order.21ABD72B-4780-4F0B-B3D4-28488F4878AC.jpeg

I would get that somewhere and have a salt neutralizer sprayed underneath and an undercoat, frame will be rotted out by the time you get it paid for.. I'm sure mines going to look the same way if it ever shows up. I'll be sure to check the rear bags while it's on the lift.
