Picked up the Power Wagon last night after work. It was an 18+ week wait but I'm still very happy to have her. No pics yet because it was dark then and now it's just finished raining- but I'm loving that Patriot Blue color, even more, especially the contrasts with the black. Haven't had a lot of time to sit in the truck to get acquainted with everything yet, but the number one thing after driving to work this morning? The need to disable that automatic highbeam.

The wonders of reading the owner's manual. Found this about the auto high beam...

NOTE:  The Automatic High Beam Headlamp Control can be turned on or off by selecting “ON” under “Auto Dim High Beams” within your Uconnect Settings Ú page 258, as well as turning the headlight switch to the AUTO position.

Nice find!

'21 3500 HO Bighorn. Ordered 3/7. Vin 3/8. D1 on 3/10. Today ramchat said my "truck has been sequenced for production." Different from the usual canned answer. Does that mean it's moved to D2? That's my guess.

Interesting, I had the feature in a 2018 Charger and it seemed to work really well. I've seen some complaints from the forums here that they automatically trip off a lot when the light from road signs is reflected back and "sensed" by the truck. I wonder if that feature is something that you can turn off in AlfaObd

It can be done in the UConnect settings

Why did you cancel Ramboxes. I think thats probably what is delaying my build. I dont have trailer camera wiring either, which I heard is another one of the delays
I ordered them after reading about how great they were and everyone loved them and put so much stuff in them.

Over the next few weeks I saw a few trucks with them and didn't exactly like the way they looked. I've also read some threads about them having misalignment, warping, and delamination issues and I just don't really wanna deal with that. Obviously there are plenty who have the Ramboxes and have no issues.

I also really don't keep much stuff in my truck. I'm not a fisherman, or a hunter. Most of the things that I do need to take with me to go offroading in the Jeep or to the race track in the car, I can just put it behind the megacab seats or fold the megacab seats down. Or put it inside of the towed vehicle on the trailer. Otherwise, those items are stored in the garage or house since I don't need a helmet and HANS device in my truck at all times lol

I have been reading here and think my new truck won't be ready in 12 weeks after I ordered (3/12). Geez!

Below is what I ordered. My thinking is that too many items mean longer waiting.

Ordered 3/12/21: 2021 Bright White Clear Big Horn 3500 DRW CC, 6.7L I6 Cummins HO Turbo Diesel Engine,A 3.73 Axle Ratio, 50-Gallon Fuel Tank, 4X4 8' Box, Black Interior, Cold Weather Grp, HD Snow-Plow Prep Group, Bed Utility Grp, Sport Appearance Pkg, Tech Pkg, Level 2 Equipment Grp, 5th Wheel Towing Prep Grp, Air Susp, TTPMS,

Hello, I ordered my 2500 cummins on 2/26 ( first time I've ever ordered a truck) my dealership said it's prepared for shipping. I have a projected arrival week of 5/2. I chatted with Ram cares and get the same answer of " the parts and resources are gathered up and it should be built soon", my question is, is it built or not? If so where can I get my build sheet? I do have a vin. Sorry for beating a dead .

Put your vin after the = .....make sure to use caps.

Latest update from RamCares pushes my estimated delivery date to 3/26-3/31. The previous estimate I got from them was 3/16-3/22, which we obviously blew through. My original eta was 2/5. Order date was 12/5. 2500 6.4 Limited

Based on your order date and your projected arrival, I'd say it's probably not built yet.

Some of you more experienced, please remind me (so I don't have to go back and search) how long for Window Sticker, following build sheet?
My build sheet came March 9 and my window sticker came March 11 projected to be delivered the week of April 5.

Ram 2500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4X4 8 FT Box. Olive green pearl coat. 6.4L HEMI, 8 speed transmission. 4.10 Rear Axle. Anti-Spin Rear Axle. Rear air suspension, engine block heater. Level 2 equipment group, Sport Appearance Package, Safety Group, Protection group, Tech package, Snow Chief Group, 5th wheel prep group, LED Bed Lighting, Spray-In Bed liner. Five passenger seating, trailer tire pressure monitoring. Ordered 12/28/2020.

Question for those who know more things: Is there a comprehensive list of all the things that are done at the body vendor in JB status? From another thread, it seems like bed liner, bed step, I'm gonna guess any kind of running board, then @Millwright71 is in JB status waiting on trailer camera wiring. I'm just wondering how many things will remain left to do on the truck after I get the build sheet. Seems that the build sheet comes after the truck leaves the plant and is en route to the body vendor?
Yes, the build sheet is populated when the plant has “built” the truck. The window sticker/payload/towing capacity info all populate when the “vendor” is done with the truck, and it heads into shipping status.

I texted dealer and was told that I might get a new truck approximately May 12th or earlier. That is 9 weeks! I got a new VIN numbers and unable to get worksheet or payload data. We will see...

I received yet another “canned” response from “Jeff” at Ram cares. No new updates, truck has been in JB status now for 42 days. No end in sight, no dealer ETA even. But boy am I supposed to feel good to know that 3500 series trucks are presently being built. Yeah, they are, just not mine. This is getting laughable at this point. What a joke.
