I am in Vermont. My dealer has my email included with the order so when Ram emailed my dealer I was copied.

Thanks for that! I will ask my dealer if they can do the same. I hope you get your truck as planned in May.
 
If the dealer can't (or won't) do the add for BSM, it can be done DIY as others have already done this by adding parts and recoding the sales code with AlfaOBD.

The only DIY upgrade that hasn't been figured out related to mirrors is the 21 digital mirror option fitted to 10-20 trucks. Seems the 19-20 BCM firmware/hardware isn't supporting it.

Who emailed you? Dealer, RamCare...I chatted with RamCare and have contacted my dealer and I have not gotten any "unsolicited" communication back. Ramchat is always the same canned reply and my dealer, while responsive, does not have anything to add. My build date was supposed to be 3/20, but no joy...

EDIT- disregard, I see you already answered on this. It is just odd how communication is all over the place from Ram.

I ordered 2/2, so a few days behind you. Cummins. was a 3/15 build. Last week dealer said was “a few weeks behind” so fingers crossed that = about 14 days. I sort of expect a build sheet any day...

Latest Status from Dealer:... says VIN is not covered by recall! And its KZ now! All good news!

Ordered 02/10/21 in MN: 2021 3500 Limited SB CC SRW HO NE P.Blue 5th TTPMS Air Susp everything else...
Status: 02/24/21 Dealer says: D1 with Est. Ship Date "Saying it should ship out of Mexico end of next month" = End of March
Status: 03/22/21 Dealer says KZ status. Build Sheet/Equipment Listing populated by VIN

Just got an update from FCA that my truck is "in paint stage of the build process". Anyone have prior experience with this and can elaborate/educate on what this really means in the grand scheme of things? Should I expect my build sheet to finally populate this evening? Ordered 2/5, VON 2/8, original project delivery to dealer: week of 4/6
 
I have been told that my truck has been held in JB Vendor status purgatory over 40 days now due to a supplier issue with the trailer camera prep wiring. Anyone else waiting for this like me? 3500 CCSB HO Limited.

Still waiting on mine to make it to the dealer 6months 1 day now.

I’m a Canadian buyer here on the West Coast. Ordered Limited Longhorn on Feb 2/21 with just about everything. Got VIN in “D” status on Feb 11 and nothing new since. I have called dealer a few times, all I get is “still nothing new. Will keep you posted”. Patiently waiting.
Ram is not the only one having all these shortage issues. Also ordered a new Yamaha Grizzly 700 in Dec. Was supposed to get in Jan. Then it got bumped to March. Then earlier this month it has now been bumped to May. Nothing but a waiting game. Wonder which one will make it in my yard first?

My truck was in the "paint stage" at the beginning of this month. I believe it was later that day or a couple days later I was able to get my build sheet to show up. After that it seems like people either get their window sticker within a few days which means the truck is done and ready to ship, or your truck will go to the body vendor like mine (for spray in bed liner, ext.) Where it has been for about 2 weeks now. Hope this gives you a better idea with your truck!
 
Ordered 2/10. Also received buildsheet today! Olive green Power wagon level 2 with tow package, 12” screen, HK Speakers, on the fly shift and a few other bits..

26 weeks here, Expected delivery March 28-April 13. At the earliest it will be 27 weeks, at the latest (as long as there isn't any unforeseen delays!!!) it will be 30-31 weeks
 
I ordered a 2021 3500 Longhorn on December 31, 2020, VIN was provided on Feb 15, 2021 - no news since then. The dealer in Calgary did mention he thought it was waiting for electronics to come from China but said he could not be certain that was the reason for the delay.
