It was shipped to Kansas City railyard 1/31 (where I live)

Weeks with no communication, only to find it's shipped back to Midlothian TX for some kind of repair/recall.

Dealer is useless, will tell me nothing.

Anyone have additional info on what this recall or safety issue is?

I know someone else who ordered the same exact truck 3 weeks later and he's already received it.

There are a few of us in the same boat and we don't know what is going on. Looking at your SL date at the bottom of the window sticker shows 0301-03- so I'm assuming it's back in travel status again. Do you remember if you had another SL date previously? I ask because mine still says 0122.

Here's a link to my Monroney in case anybody wants to look and see if there is a commonality that might shed light because the info I get from the manufacturer representatives (RamCares, Dealer, etc) is very vague.

I ordered 1/10/21 and mine has been done (build sheet populated ) since 3/3/21 but sent to body vendor also and nothing has happened since then ! No updates and can't figure out why it takes 6 days at the body vendor for bed liner and steps when others have seen 2 day turnaround. Again it comes to the patience thing and I am terrible with that ! Original estimated delivery to dealer was week of March 23rd but I don't think it will make that date since the last one took three weeks to get to Idaho fro when it shipped.

FWIW-mine took a week from build sheet to window sticker, the worst part of ordering is the waiting game.
Ordered on 12/11 build sheet on 1/28 window sticker on 2/04 then moved to 2/10 and still waiting for delivery.

Ordered mine 10-21-2020, was delivered to Toledo on 2-1-2021, here it is 3-9-2021, and it sitting in Detroit Michigan now, with no delivery date to the dealer. I'm about to say screw Ram, I can get a Ford within 6 weeks, not 6 months.

Yeah my original estimated delivery to dealer was 3/17 but I wasn't expecting that when I first got that info, thanks to reading up on here. I'll be happy if mine is at the dealer sometime next month.

Honestly it isn’t even the waiting that is so bad, it’s the lack of realistic information on why the delays? It is absolutely ridiculous to order something so expensive and basically be given the finger when it comes to information.

That really sucks almost a month ! I would suspect something is wrong unless yours is one of those waiting for the injection pump update ? Everyone else I talk with says 2-7 days at body vendor max . If mine is there more then two weeks I'm going to be a little worried.

Yea - I just jumped shipped. Been RAM fan since 2004 (had 04, 13, 14, and 19 Ram). Just can't wait not knowing if I'll have a truck when RV gets here and we have trips scheduled. Promised 8 weeks and this Friday will be 9 weeks and still D1 status. Nope....not waiting.

Left deposit on an in stock 21 F450 Limited with all the options I would have ordered. Took over 2 weeks to find the right one that wasn't sold or deposit taken. These things are hard to nail down. Was told 10+ weeks for order from Ford so they are having same issues. So - Good luck guys!!!!! Sincerely wish you guys the best.

I ordered my truck on Jan. 28th. I am just going to wait for my dealer to call me to say the truck is in.
I don't think I could go through all this, it would drive me crazy watching everyday to figure out what stage the build is at.

Sorry to hear that but, I feel your pain.
Life goes on and Ram didn't do anything to keep you informed as to when you might get it. I can't figure out what makes them think that people are going to wait indefinitely when there are other options out there.
I know this is a Ram HD forum but it sure would be nice to see what Ram pushed you to buy.
So send us a pic like nordicnevs did.
