My Build Sheet came active this past Tuesday, and the Window Sticker was available today. The dealer also sent me a note that the truck is on its way via rail.

Question on Pricing.....the Window Sticker is approx $1k higher than the worksheets used for ordering (placed the order December 14). One biggie is Customer Preferred Package 21k (Towing Technology Group). Back in December this was a $0 cost, now it shows on the sticker for $995. How does this gap in price work with the dealer? Do I still pay the price we agreed to back in December, or do I have to absorb the price increases?

It varies by state. In New York, (if you can believe it) when you sign a purchase agreement they cannot pass along a subsequent price increase.
 
Anyone ordered a truck recently that can give an idea of build time? I ordered a 2021 Ram 3500 this week. Dealer is saying 8-12 weeks. Does that sound right?
 
Picking up my truck today. Ordered 12/04. It arrived at the dealer yesterday 2/12.
3500 longhorn mega drw HO 4x4, dual alt, I will post a pic tomorrow if anyone is interested in seeing it. So far pretty painless. I feel bad for the folks waiting so long. My dealer at first thought 6 months, but it moved much faster. Im in Northern ILL.
 
Just heard from my dealer. My truck is in Popular Bluff Missouri. Should have the truck at the dealership next Wednesday or Thursday. It will be 16 weeks from order till delivery if this timeline holds true. . My offer expires on 2/27 so I have some time if it has a short delay.
 
How the hell are you guys getting these emails? My dealer has my name/address on the POC and when I asked if my email can be added so I get updates he said no. Ram Chat also said no. So why some get emails and some don't????

I have a mopar account and currently have my current Ram in the garage. Even tried adding this ordered truck using the VIN but no worky.

Really wish they would improve order tracking. Like someone said before I can track toilet paper from Amazon down to how many stops away he is but no clue the status of my $90k truck that is on order. Unreal.

Same email I got last month. About week after my order.

Still no sticker yet...

The first time i contacted ram chat this week for an update, they took my mailing address and my email to update my order.

They ask for that every time you contact them. It seems to be standard procedure and I believe its more for marketing to send you crap then for the order itself. I specifically asked if they can add my email to the order twice and 2 different agents said no (at least not for getting email updates on order status). They both said you need to come back to chat regularly or contact your dealer. Useless in my opinion as they don't give ship dates or status codes anymore. On my previous 3 vehicles order I was able to track it using VOTS. That was shut down and we are left with Ram Chat. I'm not upset or not...LOL. Some people use their truck for work and pleasure so knowing when they get it is important. I'm fine with 8 - 9 weeks (as quoted) but if it extends to 20 weeks I need to prepare a backup plan thus my frustration. I feel really bad for the people who are already at 16 or 18 weeks. That's awful.

My twin ! I have the exact same order except I got the RAM boxes and smaller bed. Ordered 1/18 in FL

If it makes you feel any better, I ordered on the 18th but it was a holiday and they had to put it in on the 19th
I’m in GA. Where are you? Dealer says they’re coming up via boat now.
 
I ordered 1/28 and have gotten no further information. My dealer (sales guy) seems uninterested in researching or providing updates so I guess I just wait. I will keep trying Ram chat but last week they told me the dealer has no order in my name. A lot depends on the dealer apparently.
