Couldn't find for my year truck.Titan makes fender tanks for those with slide in campers
Titan makes a 55 gallon replacement tank for 2013-2021 long bed 3500s. It might also be interesting to see how much the factory 50 gallon would cost.Does anyone know if there is a larger tank available for my 2021 RAM 3500 standard cab long bed? Factory is 32 gallons and I would certainly like 15-20 gallons more. I know Titan has a 30 gallon spare tire tank but at just under $2k without install I have trouble justifying.
The factory 50 gallon was 250 in Canada. However only available on crew cab long bed as far as I know.Titan makes a 55 gallon replacement tank for 2013-2021 long bed 3500s. It might also be interesting to see how much the factory 50 gallon would cost.
I thought the 50 gallon was a deal at $250 (220 employee). Since I tow a big fiver I won't need to stop for fuel nearly as often and it won't take up any bed space.ah, missed the standard cab part of ramblinChet's post. Need more coffee.![]()
I wonder how much after the fact if they would even sell itI thought the 50 gallon was a deal at $250 (220 employee). Since I tow a big fiver I won't need to stop for fuel nearly as often and it won't take up any bed space.
My dealer would have done so. But the Titan 55 gallon installed cost beat the dealer total price and they said it was actually only 48 gallons.I wonder how much after the fact if they would even sell it
Hmm i think id rather have an aux tank than pay that kinda price i dont understand why such a high cost for injection molded plastic tanks.....My dealer would have done so. But the Titan 55 gallon installed cost beat the dealer total price and they said it was actually only 48 gallons.
well...I've put 49 gallons in mine twice and didn't have to push the truck to the station (didn't run that low intentionally), so I'd say it's actually 50.My dealer would have done so. But the Titan 55 gallon installed cost beat the dealer total price and they said it was actually only 48 gallons.
I'll try to remember to check next week when I change the fuel filters.Would one of you folks that has the OEM/Mopar 50 gallon tank option be willing to check it for a part #.
Hmmm...Bad info from a dealership? Who knew?!?well...I've put 49 gallons in mine twice and didn't have to push the truck to the station (didn't run that low intentionally), so I'd say it's actually 50.

Yea i have gone through that with 6bt stuff too but they sometimes can be cheaper too like 2nd gen tow mirrors were cheaper from them until prime choice(now autoshack) started making their own but the titan tank is 1800$ plus tax and shipping with the good ol Canadian dollar so im sure the dealer can beat thatANYTHING from the dealer is high cost. Many years ago I needed 6 valve cover gaskets (like an O ring) for my 1997 12 valve. Each cylinder had its own cover. My local dealer wanted 35 buck each!! I stopped by my local Cummins distributer and picked all six for 30. Mopar is really proud of their stuff. LOL
I've put 49.1 gallons into my 2020 gasser and just like geektoad, hadn't pushed it into the station. Thanks GeekToad. Hope you can find the part number.
For the question on the tank size by other members - from my quick research looking at different versions on the Mopar online parts places, I believe that the Cummins trucks it is 50 Gal and the 48 Gal is on the gasser. The problem is that the 50 gallon tank isn't on any of the parts diagrams yet. I also noticed that the chassis frame trucks look like they have two tanks with the rear tank being 50 gal.
I kept searching ths internet every few days until I found someone that had my fueal tank "on sale". Saved $200. And Titan now says that the skid plate is no longer manufactured, nor recommended any longer. So that was $250ish that I did not need to spend.Yea i have gone through that with 6bt stuff too but they sometimes can be cheaper too like 2nd gen tow mirrors were cheaper from them until prime choice(now autoshack) started making their own but the titan tank is 1800$ plus tax and shipping with the good ol Canadian dollar so im sure the dealer can beat that
