Price negotiated from MSRP

I ordered my truck on 10/30/20 got an email on 11/06/20 with a $1,000 rebate that expires on 01/04/2021, now my truck isn't estimated to be in until as late as 01/12/2021. My truck was supposed to be in 12/21/20 - 01/04/2021, I called FCA incentives and nicely told them my story and in short was told tough luck, no extension, no new rebate emailed to me, nothing.

I did my part and due to issues beyond my control I may be getting screwed out of my rebate. I don't think that is good customer service from FCA.

I was told yesterday by a dealer, the $1500 cash rebate would be applied as long as the truck "in shipment". Also build time was 6-8 weeks.
I thinks he's not being honest, and just wants to get the order in with my deposit, knowing good well once the truck arrives I would buy it, as it has everything I want.
Including the $1500 (must take delivery by 2/19/2020) were right at 9.7% off msrp.

I have an agreed upon price on a 2021 2500 Laramie MC, MSRP $78,095 at $66,500, right around 15% off including my $1,500 if it arrives in time, so I think you can do better. I have not ordered because I need closer to 20% off, but not sure I can get there. Just FYI

Yes I agree, I also think I can do better. A salesman at another dealer told me, I can garrantee you will get a good price once the truck arrives. I dont know how much more of this nonsense I can tolerate.

Send me your first and last name, email, and zip and I'll enter it for you.

Edit: Not working for me any longer. Sorry....
How long is the rebate/incentive from ramtrucks website good for? I am hoping to take delivery during the month of February but it could come faster than expected. If it is good for 90 days then I would register now.

The rebate certificate is good for 2 months from the date you enter your information. The overall offer end date for this was Feb-28-2021. FCA will hopefully renew or come out with something similar. Jeep also has similar offer.

Looks like a reasonable offer, and depending on what part of the country you are in, many dealers are still not discounting the HD's very much. That being said, its some where in the middle as far as discounts go, from whats been posted here. If you are willing to travel, you most certainly can do better, but with limited inventory and the inconvenience, whats important to you. Not sure I could sound more indecisive!

Anyone still getting the pop op offer? I can’t seem to get one on my iPhone or laptop. Anyone want to fill one out for me?

Try clearing your browser Cache on your phone or laptop. I did this on my android phone and it popped right up at the bottom of the screen. I use Chrome for my browser and found the option under Settings --> History --> Clear Browsing Data

2020 Ram 2500 Bighorn Cummins

Victory CDJR of Ottawa. Finance guy tried to slip in a $1500 extra charge for "ELO GPS 3 YEAR" and when I called him on it he claimed he forgot to add the Ram $1500 Coupon. I have both finance sheets, they both have the rebate on them, but the first one has that ELO GPS **** on it. He immediately threw the papers in the shredder lock box and he had to get them out for me later. Dont get rushed into signing ****, they WILL try to slip **** in. We drove 3.5 hours to pick up this truck, so we were wanting to get out of there fast so we could make the return trip, glad I took my time to go through the papers.

I would have given this dealership 5 Stars, but its funny how a finance guy can completely sour your taste for the process.
Finance guys are real d heads. Local dealer finance guy has nixed 3 deals for me in the last 3 years. Now I just hound the crap out of them knowing I will never buy there.

Doesn't seem like anyone wants to negotiate really? And inventory seems low. Yesterday the guy tried to tell me that he can't go lower than employee pricing because then he won't get that rebate back from FCA. I'm like....huh? That doesn't even make sense to me. Why would FCA care how much I buy the truck for? Wouldn't their profit be the same if the dealer himself gave me a discount? I'm going to wait. Besides I'm still on the fence of a 2500 vs 1500 gas....bigger back seat and plowing my quarter my driveway sounds nice, but the MPG of a 1500 sounds nice even on my 16 mile a day commute.

@Anttiwalt go with the 2500. I have a 2019 Rebel and I’ve been looking for a 2500. I missed out on the gasser I was trying to get. Good news is, I don’t NEED a truck. Good luck to you.

Thanks. It's a battle when dropping so much on a vehicle nowadays. Sorry that you have a brand new truck and are already looking to upgrade! Tough spot I imagine. I feel you're getting a better deal with a 2500 vs a 1500.....the 1500s are only a few grand less. Seem overpriced. Maybe Long term maintenance, fuel, insurance yada yada are where you'll feel the pain.

So here is the deal I just got today. I deal directly with internet sales managers always. 2020 Big Horn Night Edition. 67810 msrp and am getting the truck for 57,500. Also getting all the dealer accessories they added for free with 3 years of maintenance all included. I think this is a pretty good deal. What do you guys think.

I'm looking at a Big Horn build, 63,415msrp for 59,343 minus ant rebates/incentives at time of delivery. Thats about the best deal I've found for the truck I want.

Only $4000 off isn’t much of a deal.

58,343 which is 8% off msrp plus incentives/rebates at time of delivery. I know not the best deal, but the best I managed to date, asn I've been actively working at it for weeks.
