But it wouldn’t be hard to give the customer access to the same updates on a placed order that the dealer has or at least a steady flow of emails to keep the customer updated. 5 weeks now and zero emails from Ram for me, and I saw the dealer put my correct email in.I see your point but that's a bit of a stretch IMO. You can track a widget that's been handed off to another shipping partner with varying accuracy. Good luck if it's AMZ Logistics.
