What did you do TO your RAM today?

They seem to fit well and I'm sure will hold up great. We have them in my wife's Durango and I got them for my parents Mazda and everyone has been happy for years, so I had no hesitation ordering them for the Ram.

Details pretty please!

it took a while to get it. I ordered it Sept 1 and was told it would be about 5 weeks and it showed up today. It is not cheap but stout and no doubt it will protect both the oil and tranny pans as well as the exhaust cross over. it is not in the way of draining the oil pan. it is a nice piece of steel and powder coat looks good.

Added a Decked system in the bed, Switch-Pros SP9100, and a Midland GMRS

How hard was it to install and where did you put it?

Funny thing

Got support brackets and 1/2” square tubing to include additional air line to allow separation.
My plan is to mount them at a 45° or so angle to get some additional separation from the original mount, over 2ft on the frame.

Since getting all the things to do this I got insanely busy with work so needless to say it’s all boxed up.

Also the 5 gallon tank wasn’t feasible so I went to a 2.5 which will be a lot better for fitting things.

Anyway I plan on doing it soon I hope. Been waiting a long time but I haven’t had any to spare. I’ll keep you posted.

Had a new tail gate put on . Backed into my pin box like an idiot ! Still trying to figure out how I managed that . I wasn't even hooking up . Just parking . Classic Head in butt move . 3 mirrors enough cameras to film a movie and I dont't look at anything just back up and BOOM!!

Don't feel bad. I was guiding Dad years ago as he backed his 3500 Chevy up to a trailer. Got him hitched, gave the "go forward" signal, and he let off the brake, still in reverse, and pushed the gas. Jack-knifed the trailer and tore up his tailgate and right fender, I just barely got out of the way in time. A month later, he's gotten it all fixed up. I came to visit, and the damage was still there. I asked, "thought you got that fixed already." He said, "I did. Then I hooked up again and moved the trailer...."

Awesome. I am looking forward to it.

Found a driver side swing case on CL for $100. It is new, but missing keys and mounting screws. I already had another lock set and keys, so $0 there. 6 self tapping screws >$4. Got it installed. small_DSC00227.JPG

I have to say, I like the way these mounted on my old F150 better. For the Ram, you have to tap into the metal of the bed. It works, I feel a little bad about drilling into the bed.

Looks like new and the price was right. Nice job.

I have the passenger side on my2016 1500 and my 2020 3500 and find them very durable and handy.

Thanks! I put them on all my trucks. Very handy. I am looking for a deal on the passenger side now. LOL

Had the windows tinted. No longer a convection oven.

Also added the kaodtech cable so I could adjust TPMS settings and disable the fog light dropout, but none of that was picture worthy.

What percentage did you go with on that tint?
