Adding Passive Entry

I started adding the passive entry on the Drivers side of my 2025 Lonestar 2500. Was going good until the pin out for the return wire.
This truck has 360 cameras / enhanced trailer tow package / power everything mirrors with service lights in mirrors.

I already have a blue and white wire in the 5D pin location. I have 5 wires on the brown door connector with only 5 wires on the body side as well.

Do I need to tap into this blue and white in 5D or do I need to land the return somewhere else?
I'm lost at this point due to the lack of wiring that I see on the body side brown connector. The white connector had the extra wires on the body side for the sense wire.
I haven't opened up the passenger side but will soon. Fingers crossed the pin locations are open for use.

For 2025+, 4C is the return, and 11C is the signal for both doors.
Then, there’s no way to program passive entry to work on the 2025’s yet.

Jimmy07 - Thank you for the reply.

Based on the pin out locations you provided for the 2025. I will need to re-term the pins on the drivers side. Larger pin will be sense, smaller pin is return. Instead of the (2) smaller pins.
On the passenger side to avoid re-terming the pins, I should be able to take apart handle side plug and swap the wire locations in the plug. Wire color between harness and door handle will look reversed but signal on wires would travel correctly?

Programming, I will just have to wait. Would you happen to know if the security bypass is the same or did it change in 2025 also?

Overall the color handles look a lot better than the textured black handles.

Just curious if you know the part number for the antenna that has to be installed for passive entry on the 2020 ram 2500

Sorry, I miss typed the year. Do you happen to know the part number for the rear antenna in the bumper for passive entry on a 2025 ram 2500?
no i have no clue about that i have a 22 and know it was the same as the 20

It’s always been that expensive. That’s why everyone uses 56046957AA instead.
It is great news to hear. The cheapest I found 52112203ab was $448. The price for that sensor just Seems crazy. My dealer told me once everything is wired in. They would activate it for me. Already bought the 56046957AA and was hoping I didn’t have to buy that terribly expensive one. Thank you very much for the info.

I have a question for you, Jimmy

I added the handles for passive entry and installed the wiring harnesses you provided on a 2025 ram 2500. My dealer said they would be willing to activate it, I just got it back from the dealer and they said the door handles don’t have an antenna to recognize the passive entry system. Is it possible that you must use 52112203AB for the rear antenna in order to get this to work?

The passive entry door handles are the same as previous years. The door antennas are already present because they are necessary for the push button start system. The only missing antenna is the one behind the license plate for the tailgate handle to be passive. That antenna is 56046957AA, and does not have to be 52112203AB.

Were they able to successfully add the GXD sales code for passive entry to work? Stellantis hasn’t allowed that sales code to be added after the fact in years. If they claim they added it, you should have the passive entry setting in the radio user settings under the doors and locks section.

No, they were not able to add the code apparently. They tell me that the truck is missing the antennas to communicate to the doors. They said each door is supposed to have its own antenna.

No, according to the schematics and RF Hub pinouts, 2025-2026 still use the same antennae as always- one in each rear door, one under the center console, one on the back wall, and one behind the rear license plate. Same system setup as always.

Well, that’s what they end up telling me, I assume they just don’t know how to unlock it. Thank you for all your help though, sir.

Jimmy.
When I took off my rear door panels I do not recall seeing any antennas. Is it possible I am missing those and that is why the dealer could not activate the passive entry system. I do have remote and push button start

Would you be able to tell me the part numbers I would need for the door antennas and the console and rear cap antennas?
