Thats how the K&N are designed, still connected to the inflow tube, i feel the in box style is more restrictive, i had a closed s&b unit on my 1500 and i am far more impresed with the preformance of the K&N.

ThreeBearsHD, what are those?
Tailgate lock brackets.

I set up my ramps so I can put my 570 Sportsman in the back of the Ram . I will post some pics later my tailgate is about 5 feet high Had to customize the ramps so not to be to steep. Wouldn't wan't the Quad on top of me !!!! Heres a pic of the Quad.

I'll chime in the K&N air filter debate... As an old hot rodder since the 1980's, I ran K&N filters on everything from `65 GTO making 500+hp to a '93 Taurus. I always got increases in power and gas mileage. Loved them!

Then a couple of years ago, I found this channel on YouTube called Project Farm. The guy is a farmer in Iowa who tests products and equipment and comes up with ingenious ways to do real world testing. He has 3.6 million subscribers and I try and find one of his reviews on something before I buy it. His results in testing are pretty much spot on and backed up by real world results and other tests done by engineers and scientists.

So I watched his review of air filters when deciding which one to buy for my new Jeep. He tested Fram, AC Delco, Purolator, Wix, and K&N.

After watching it, I will never put another K&N or similar oiled cotton gauze filter in anything. Yeah, they flow more and help make more power, but they let in a huge amount of grit and crap that will wear your engine out much sooner...

Just don’t go cheap and buy a chain to do a rope/strap’s job, and avoid anything with hooks.
Absolutly not I have since purchased a 20,000 LB kinetic recovery rope/sling shot , Also a 26,000Lb Erickson tow sling with hoop's no metal on any of them . My next purchase will be soft shackle's.
