2025 RAM HD Builds and Orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Thats a sad game to play! I'm almost at a month, sitting on ordered confirmed since April 30th.
I see you ordered "2025 Ram 3500 Laramie Mega Cab SRW". I'm assuming diesel is only available with megacab.
What color did you go with?
Did you select "2.4Kw inverter"?
Just trying to see who's been waiting longer times and connect the dots to why. Thanks.

Went with granite, and yup 6.7. Also have lvl2 package, towing group, 5th wheel prep, night edition, dual alternators, sunroof, aux switches, and VSIM.

I don't want to try and apply logic to anything Stallantis does but it does look like the more options the longer the wait with some options still not being able to be handled. Some of the more standard trucks that match what's on deal orders already seem to jump right in line as soon as they are ordered. But I could be completely wrong and it could just be some specific component makes you wait for that run/batch of builds. I still feel its worth the savings but I don't know how you guys who always order handle the wait its already killing me.

In similar situation, order confirmed 5/6 but yet to be scheduled. 3500 6.7 Laramie CC SRW, granite, level 2, towing tech, 5th wheel prep, night edition, aux switches, deleted bed step and rear air

I believe the options that'll add some lead time are rear bumper step, inverter, and rear air. The bed liner is also said to possibly add some time.

My order had the bed step deleted as it was a restriction at the time. I could see the rear air and bed liner adding time

On my 2025 3500 Limited Longhorn Mega cab the spray in liner took a week + sitting in line and then a week to have it installed.
Mine took 11 weeks from start to finish.

when did you order yours? 3 months sounds typical if you were one of the early guys.

Even when it's built it's a crapshoot. Mine was built on 5MAR and arrived at the port in Mexico on 18MAR. There it sits still at the port. 2 months... batteries are probably dead.

Well thanks to someone who posted here probably 6 weeks ago, I realized I missed one option when I ordered my truck. I did the Laramie level2+ and I thought the surround view cameras were part of it. Saw someone post they their's didn't come with it. Found it was on a towing tech package. So re-ordered a few days after the first order.

Well the first truck came in a week ago. I managed to get a test drive out of it while waiting on my actual truck to arrive (could be today). I was very surprised how the truck (3500 SRW SB CC diesel) performed compared to my 2022 3500 LB CC DRW. Can't wait to see how it tows!

WOW that is incredibly fast turn around time vs what most of us are seeing! Where are you located? Its crazy to think start to finish in 6 weeks when @Forceofwill's truck has sat for 2 months just in transport alone

I’ve read about some 7 pin problems. Maybe this will help someone as dumb as me! I’ve had trucks and trailers my entire life, so pretty embarrassing.

The 7 pin on my new 2025 3500 is upside down of any other vehicle I’ve owned.

I’m pretty good at shoving square pegs in round holes.

Couple of fuses later and one trip to a great service department to tell me “it’s a trailer problem”. I finally discover it’s a “me problem”!

Without doubt, the step and bed liner options will add time as those go to an outside facility for completion.

I think that's more frustrating than waiting for confirmation it's being built. I hate the thought of it just sitting there. Good thing the dealers don't make us pay up front like everything else we order (amazon, etc).

*25 orders should be closing at months end, not production. If It were production I hope my window sticker says 2026 on it.
Correct, 2026 pickup engines should go into production early/mid June, and truck production would start late June/early July. In other words, back to a normal model year calendar, not a major engine release calendar.
Is it true they’re moving 2500s back to USA? If so that could delay ordering and production on 2026 models.
No, that would have been announced waaaaaaay before now.
Ya, there was some accumulation on the ground below. Washed the truck today, so we'll see if it's still wet tomorrow.
It might be RP draining out from the flexplate. Hopefully.

If you haven't changed your oil, try shining a UV light on it. If it glows then it most likely is oil. RP shouldn't glow.

With Amz, you get charged when shipped.

I think you said it backwards, but that seemed to work great. My engine oil didn't glow, but the stuff in the bellhousing did. And also, the leak appears to finally be done at 1700 miles.

Anyone who gets their 2025, you definitely want to open the hood and fully seat all fuses and relays in the fuse box. Every single one of mine were about 1/16" to 1/8" out. I'm guessing it's an automated robot that installs them and it's not calibrated correctly. Every truck I looked at so far has been like this. People have had issues of the dash not lighting up or truck not wanting to run properly because of this.

Seeing how dirty mine was when it showed up, I think I'd recommend waiting till they get their act together to order again. Dealer told me mine was the only "clean" one that's arrived. But the roof of my cab would suggest otherwise since they forgot to wash it. Some of my plastic trim needs serious attention already. My wheels are dated "2012". I might look hard at trading into an all-new body style in 27-28 if they really come out. Feels like these trucks are being made with the leftover scraps that are still kicking around.
Why do you say they are building these trucks with left over scraps? we have some 25s at work and they all look as good as can be.

If 13-year-old parts on a brand new truck are as good as it can be, you don't have very high standards.

What parts are 13 years old? did the wheel not change design from 13 years ago to today? A new automobile cannot legally be sold with 12-year-old parts. NHTSA mandates that no NEW automobile manufacture shall at any time use any part that is not labeled the year the truck was manufactured, otherwise they would be in violation of regulations. so, if you have come across any part of your new truck with it stamped form 12 years ago takes it back as there is no way I would accept a truck with 12-year-old parts.

Mine is a 2500 but….

I ordered a Laramie crew cab granite 6.7 with 5th wheel prep, towing tech plus, level 2plus.
The big differences im seeing on my order(that got scheduled immediately after being confirmed) from others are these items.
-Chrome bumper package(holds up to bugs/rocks better)
-no sunroof
-brown and tan interior
-no offroad package
-single alternator
