Lets see what you are towing!

I have the same lift. A little pricey but works well for me. It sits nicely in my 8’ box and no issues loading/unloading my 1250GS.

Depends on the weekend for us:
26' Chaparral: loaded about 7500# -or-
16' Clipper Teardrop/Pop-up: loaded about 3000#

The 6.4 does pretty well in CO near Denver, but I'll typically borrow my Dad's diesel to pull the boat to Powell over 11k' passes. Not that I can't do it, but having the control downhill with the big boy motor makes a world of difference when the grades are long and steep. The gasser just doesn't have the holding power that the exhaust brake does and if I have the tools at my disposal, why not use them, right?

Eventually got my caravan upgraded and taking it for inspection tomorrow.
I also ran into a problem very unexpectedly, the LH blinker did not work, so I did some fault finding and traced the fault to the fuse box under the bonnet. No easy fix for me so off to the dealer and they did do a temporary fix until they get the parts to fix, yes the fault is from the connector that plugs into the bottom of the fuse box.

Our TT is not very big and frankly she doesn't even feel her back there.

Got a smokin' year end deal on a new 5er over the weekend. Trading in the 2022 Apex Nano 213rds on a New 2023 Keystone Cougar 24rds 5th wheel. Saw an opportunity to low ball them because they sure didn't want a New 2023 on the lot going into 2025. This is the Cougar '1/2 ton towable' series, but that name is a stretch. I wanted to stay on the smaller/ lighter side because it's just my wife and I and the dog. Plus, our diesel megacab 2500 is pretty light on payload itself. I think its rated at 4 duck feathers, two jelly beans and a beer fart or two. You get my drift. In actual numbers it's 1850 lbs. Pin weight on the 5er is 1400 lbs dry weight. Probably closer to 1500. I am not trying to start a payload discussion. I am completely comfortable with this size and weight of trailer with the capabilities of this vehicle. I realize that I must empty my bowel in the morning before hitting the road or I will be 2 eggs and 3 sausage links and some whole wheat toast over.

I will post a pic or two once I pick here up in a couple of weeks.
