LETS SEE THOSE 35'S ON STOCK WHEELS

got the coils and shocks on today looks so much better and rides better as well. Was surprised that my steering wheel was not off center at all after driving. If the coils don't settle a little bit may still do a small spacer in the back.

Yep, that's why I did the 1" thuren coils on the front (didn't want to mess with the rear)...

Does everybody “fix” via gizmo concerning tire size (speedo etc.)?
Have a PW and thinking of ~35’s. I don’t pull heavy but pull around 4k 90% of time the truck is running.
Would I have to mess with electronimos for the truck and I to remain happy?

I would change for tire size. Most likely rpms will increase along with shift point. Pretty easy with Alpha
Will the dealership do it? There is no way I’d plug anything in myself.
Just wondering if it’s problematic not to concerning like you said, shift points and whatever else could manifest issue wise … don’t really care about speedo any more than on vehicles in the past.

If you're not making drastic changes in size, it's not a huge deal.
Another consideration is the TPMS light/display. A lot of 35's can't be aired up to 80 psi. If you're running at lower ranges, you'll trigger the TMPS which I think triggers at 65 psi from the factory. Plenty of the 295 (11.5") wide tires can handle 80 psi, but if you're looking at a 315 (12.5") wide you're going need to do your TPMS too.

Like you, I'm not a fan of changing computer stuff myself. That said, I did adjust mine with the JScan. It's easy to use, and written in plain language. You don't need to know any "codes" or abbreviations. Click on the menu you want, find the feature you want to adjust and then make selections from the drop down options. I adjusted my tire size, and TPMS trigger threshold.

The menus look something like this. **This may not be the exact wording. I just got an image from the internet for reference, but it's straight forward like this.

If it's still too unnerving (which I completely get), then just keep an eye on the max psi of the tires you're looking at buying.

I already have no TPMS, didn’t bother with sensors when purchasing new wheels and tires a couple years ago.
Was curious about drivability/code etc. problems beyond those experienced when stepping up in tire size on vehicles which weren’t so “smart”, wanted input from those who might have gone to ~35s without informing the truck.

I also used JScan to adjust tire size and TPMS. I ran into CEL problem once I changed the tire size (no issue with TPMS change), and was told by another forum member that I also needed to re-initialize ABS on flat ground. Did you run into issue when changing tire size?

I only changed the TPMS and didn't change the tire size. So far after a couple of thousand miles, I haven't noticed any issues. The speedo is off by about 2~4 mph depending on the speed. Shifting is about the same, just holding on the same gear a little bit longer.

Thanks…:)

I ended up going with Falken Wildpeak AT4W in 285/65-20. Not quite 35's, but they say they are 34.8" so I thought I could post without being tossed out of the thread. :) I'm happy with them, add 1/2" of overall height, I like the look. Truck is dirty but snapped a pic anyway.

I've done it on a few other Rams. I never really had any issues, but I've also not made any dramatic size changes.

No, I had no issues at all. IIRC the website said something about adjusting tire size with the ignition in a specific setting (ACC, or on but not running, or something?). Whatever it was, I did it that way. I never got a CEL, didn't have to do anything with ABS. Just set the size, adjusted the pressure threshold and went on about my day. Pretty easy actually.
