What did you do TO your RAM today?

Nothing exiting today just a good wash after the cross country drive after picking her up…….O sorry I also aligned and fixed up the rear bumper that was just about to fall off because it was not done up properly after the tow bar was fitted at the dealer.

Oooo its a inline electronic water catcher that sounds a alarm when it detects water in the fuel. It gets installed before the filters. Its a Aussie thing. You can google it and read more about it, its saves thousands of dollars of repairs on any diesel vehicle here in Australia.

Your truck has a WIF sensor in the frame mounted filter housing.

Had a problem about a month ago my onboard air compressor was not putting out but around 10 psi. So I ordered up a replacement and a new wiring kit for it since my used kit only came with 18 gauge. I got the 8 grade upgraded wiring kit and a mount and the compressor. Gonna put it on tonight and wire it up with the new wiring next week. Also. Has anyone added a air chuck to the rear bumper? I'm looking for ideas on how to mount it clean looking somewhere in the middle area around the lisence plate. Maybe!?

Did not complete the water watch installation because the fuel fitting I have are not big enough for whats being used on the Ram. I then decided to do a fuel filter replacement to learn about my new truck so I am not a rookie if I need to do it in the field. I also learnt that the chassis mount filter has a built in water trap with a sensor as Mad Irishman has already mentioned above. Thanx for that.

Found a guy today who had a set of factory black running boards for a 100 bucks so I grabbed em up. They look pretty good cleaned up. And I ordered some satin vinyl and I'm gonna try my hand at wrapping a few things on it. Since this color wasn't offered in a Night Edition. I'm trying to do my own slowly. So maybe more pictures to come next week of that but boards look better than the chrome in my opinion.

Last picture is the old steps.
